The only time i would acccualy need to throw a sheild gun would be (since i have denile 3) every time i die i get 1 more sheild gun so if i die 3 times the game i have 3 shields guns at the end dont bother me much tho.

What amount of dmg does the shield gun do currently? I always thought a fully charged shot did 150 ignoring DB and DR.

Does that mean that if you fully charge a shield gun and hit a monster with it, it will deal out 150 damage regardless of your Damage Bonus, and regardless of the monster's Damage Reduction? Sorry to be confused about something that should probably seem so simply to me, just trying to clarify whether or not I need to start using a different gun with my medic.

I needlessly complicated my question. What I meant was that I thought shield gun base dmg was 150.

Im all for being able to drop the shield gun (although my opinion doesnt count for much.) It would be funny to see people running around the map with no guns lol!

I'm not part of the 'Lump of Mighty Ones' either but I'd like to toss my vote in for the tossable shield gun. I use it quite a bit and when PyRo spawns next to me and laughs "Tee hee, vampiric shield gun +7...ooooh and a null flak +6, guess I wont be using the shield gun"...yeah, it makes me want to cry sometimes...
So yeah, if the higher powers would like to include this addition, I would say, 3 cheers for the Lump of Mighty Ones.
