I think the fireball should have less damage and faster shooting. I know its more of a server load, but it would make it a good alternative to the beam.

I dont know if the server load would really be all that bad, there really aren't to many 200+ AM's out there.

That is nice. I have found that if I am socked in and left as the last person, the poison blast allows me to soften up the titans so that whatever weapons i have seem to work better.

I agree with what you said about possible exploits with healing pets. I think just increasing the EH from 15 to 20 should definitely help.

I had this long thing written out about a balance issue but I dont know if it has ever been brought up. In DM and TDM, a WMs super weapons are taken away. But the super weapons of an AM are not? Fair? Dont know what Engineers and Medics have at high levels or if they give anything up in DM and TDM. Weigh in here if I'm out of line. Just seem unfair that the WM was the only class that get's stuff taken away in DM/TDM.

My current skin After several other skins, I have reverted back to Bender.

welllll those are kinda set for long range kill'n and the am's are for closer in
medics can make pets that'll get ya and run'n round a corner into a sent is a small surprise!

but that's not a very common occurrence on this server because we play invasion more often then not!

I may be getting old and falling apart but I can sure can raise Hell and have fun doing it!

I agree with Flak, a super weapon for instance a redeemer could be shot down, and an ion could be avoided if you are quick enough as for the rod it is hard to avoid it once you are too close. The rod itself is a super weapon, the vehicles and turrets a engineer can spawn are also super weapons, and pets that can protect a medic are also super weapons, especially when taking into account the retaliation and countershove.

I think that DM and TDM should be no class for all players, just to many things that justify balance. DR, DB are definate issues. If class was turned off for DM it would be as fair as possible.

I think that is an option, but everyone who picks DM/TDM always seems to pick the RPG one. I just wish there were DM maps available instead of ONS maps. Most are just too big.

OK been playing the skilled WM for a little bit and my opinion :

well balanced ,similar scores and xp to regular WM
Loaded weapons 2 bites though very small chance of even half decent weapon
denial and plus 1 modifier pick ups make this class sing
takes me to wave 14 on average to get my proficiency to 100% using 1 weapon the entire time ,which seems a little too long for me but...

I have long thought this. It is fine for INV, and perhaps even for Monster ONS, where all the players are on the same side, but where you are doing player vs. player or even team vs. team, the RPG makes it almost impossible, if not outright impossible to truly balance things. I do believe that it would be a NP hard type program. LOL.

szlat will the ion cannon have a slight increase in shooting speed? because it definitely needs one it is about 5 seconds per shot and one shot cannot take out a single giant gasbag or titan, which is a problem.

Also the when playing with the link turret I noticed that if I am inside the turret and then people start linking me I get the regular boost but if people begin linking me before I get the in turret for example when I build the link turret, and then when I enter the turret I am not given a boost at all. The way I have figured to cope with this problem is: I have to exit the turret, they must stop linking, and then I must reenter the turret before they can link again.
