I wouldn't dream of stopping and it'll probably be earlier in the month. That way its warmer and I'm hoping the colors of the leaves show. I'm actually going to watch October weather and foliage this year very closely. Right now, I'm thinking it'll be the first Saturday of that month, but we'll see what happens when October passes this year.

He tried to pick one out, but had no idea. I found the band and he found the diamond. The only thing I said I wanted was the radiant cut. And of course I will post pictures of the dress. I'm going to be such a nerd through all of this, I'll probably post pictures of the hors d'euvres.

Ok, here are the details:

June 24th, he took me out to Hard Rock Cafe (where I've never been before) after a bike ride. After dinner we went back to his apartment and were just lying around when he said, "I wonder if Laina (his cat) wants back in. I was already by the door, so I just opened it. I saw a piece of paper on the deck. When I opened it up it said, "Will you marry my daddy?" with a picture of a ring on it. For some reason, my brain wasn't registering it properly and I thought he had been just messing around on his computer.

I just stood there just looking at it. Then, I asked him if he was serious. He said yes and I kept staring. Then, I said, "Really?" He said yes. I got all leaky and went to give him a hug...without answering. He finally had to say, "Well?"

He told me afterward the paper was supposed to be in her collar.

Laina is the same cat who likes to help me play UT. You know, by sitting right in front of the monitor beating the crap out of monsters with her paws.

I've been away for a really long time.

All I can say is WOW!!! That is amazing news.

Words can not really convey my hopes and wishes. But, they are for the two of you to have a long, healthy and happy time together.

Stuff like this makes me smile.
