Thanks for all the comments, everyone. It definitely taking its own sweet time to settle in. I still can't believe that its happening to me. I probably won't believe its happening until I'm actually in a dress standing in front of everyone.

Mac, we started talking over the server a year ago next month. We met face to face in August when he drove out here to visit Dru and Shan. So yeah, its been about a year. That may not be long enough for some people, but we make a good team so I'm not too worried about it. Like Insane said, we're eachother's Yin and Yang.

Bit of an update here. I got my ring today and thought few DC gals would like to see...maybe some of you guys too.

The center stone is a radiant cut, .51 carat, SI2, D in color. There are 3 princess cut baby diamonds on each side. You can't really see from this picture, but the setting is called a tension setting. The diamond is actually suspended from the two holders.

I apologize for bragging, but Cham did a great job!

Ooooo , Cham doin it right from the start! Very nice! (I like the silver/platnium/white gold ? much better then yellow gold, sets the diamond off much better in my opinion.) Excellent choice! (I'm talking about each of your's choice of each other here. )

Gee I know I'm kinda late but Congrats Cham and Boingo. Man two DC Marriages announced I'm gonna go crazy. lol. Big congrats from me and I still expect you to pick on me Boingo. lol.
