Bit of an update here. I got my ring today and thought few DC gals would like to see...maybe some of you guys too. ;) The center stone is a radiant cut, .51 carat, SI2, D in color. There are 3 princess cut baby diamonds on each side. You can't really see from this picture, but the setting is called a tension setting. The diamond is actually suspended from the two holders. I apologize for bragging, but Cham did a great job! B_B 

The ring is absolutely gorgeous Boingo!! Did Cham pick that out all by himself? If he did, Great Job Cham!! Will you post pics of your wedding dress when you pick it out? I would love to see that! 

Well, I'm sure you all have been waiting for this and here it comes: CHAMELEON PROPOSED TONIGHT!! *yay!* He asked and after a couple "Are you serious?"es from me, he said, "So, is that a yes?" I said yes and started crying. And got all leaky and snotty.... Anyway, so there it is. Had to let my wonderful DC family know and I'll keep you all updated. As of right now, it'll take place in October of next year, so if you have vacation coming up....:) *sidenote* Shan, we're actually going to check out rings tomorrow which is why we're not able to go to the Arts Festival with you. Macadamia: you were right. We were next. Love you all!! B_B

Ok, here are the details: June 24th, he took me out to Hard Rock Cafe (where I've never been before) after a bike ride. After dinner we went back to his apartment and were just lying around when he said, "I wonder if Laina (his cat) wants back in. I was already by the door, so I just opened it. I saw a piece of paper on the deck. When I opened it up it said, "Will you marry my daddy?" with a picture of a ring on it. For some reason, my brain wasn't registering it properly and I thought he had been just messing around on his computer. I just stood there just looking at it. Then, I asked him if he was serious. He said yes and I kept staring. Then, I said, "Really?" He said yes. I got all leaky and went to give him a hug...without answering. He finally had to say, "Well?" He told me afterward the paper was supposed to be in her collar. Laina is the same cat who likes to help me play UT. You know, by sitting right in front of the monitor beating the crap out of monsters with her paws. B_B 

And why buy fake flowers, looks like you can build your own on the way down the isle. LOL :-j
