Loaded weapons question

I recently got loaded weapons 5 and was wondering, why do I still get negative or non-magical shieldguns/assualt rifles? Granted I almost never used my assualt rifle... I do like to use my shieldgun, and was hoping with loaded 5 I'd be more likely to get a good one.

Yeah, we know about that. It used to bug me, too, when I wanted to have shield gunning contests with Acy. Druid says he'll fix it eventually, but there are a lot of other things that need to be done first.

Agreed there's way more important stuff to deal with first, and poor druid already puts loads of hours in on our behalf.

Might that be because Loaded doesnt give you the shield gun and assault rifle?

If magical starting weapons are on and Loaded isnt specifically told to give you the shield and assault then they are at the mercy of normal magical starting weapon rules.

Well it happens to me also, it just bites because often times I get a misfortune or a negative AS rifle and I can't ditch it..
It messes up my game.
I spent a lot of points to get the LW5 and i don't want to change it for somthing that seems so minor... However, it annoys me when it happens.
I can't wait until its fixed.

Do you find yourself using the assault rifle often?

I ask out of curiosity because the only time I use it or the shield gun is either

A. When Im a super low level and run out of ammo.

or

B. When everyone else on a server is super low compared to me and I feel like leveling the playing field a notch or two.

I use it when I have a great magic assault such as a knockback, then i borrow someone elses, now i have 2... However when its not good, I like to toss it or give it to someone else who wants it..

When its misfortune or negative, I can't do that.

As for the misfortunes it messes me up because its the last thing I look for, so sometimes I am not aware I am holding the misfortune, so when I share a good weapon, when I scroll through, the misfortune shield makes them all go away, which is a pain

I realize it doesn't happen as often. I get better weapons more often than negatives or misfortunes. But I would still say its about a 4/10 ratio.. Which is not fun considering I only get to play when I'm off work..
