Your Pets

I had a very old cat named Simon and I currently have a border collie named Oreo.When i figure out how to show pictures I will let you see them.We had to put Simon to sleep about 3 months ago because of kidney problems.But when can you expect from a 17 year old cat?

ok, how the hect I missed this thread is beyond me. Oh yah.. most likely because I've not come out here and read much in the last few days.

Anyway, Here's some pictures of my little girl. She's been my companion for about 6 years now. I'm adding one picture of her as a pup and a few from her a few years ago. I don't have any very recent but she pretty much looks the same.

Most people look at her and think she's about 40-50 lbs. But she tips the scales at 85lbs. She's a Rottweiler/Labrador mix (Not sure if Lab is spelled correctly). I rescued her from the side of the road on my way to work one spring morning. My boss was kewl enough to let me keep her at my desk in a box all day. She never whined once. Since then, I kinda assumed that she was meant to be mine. I mean c'mon... how often do you find a 9 week old gorgeous pup on the side of the road in a little town (about 2500 people).

So anyway... she's like a kid to me and better trained than most kids (respect and all). When she was little, I got a few books to read, because I didn't want her to grow up badly. I spend many many hours socializing her and well.. I think I overdid it. LOL Now she'll take off running at people just because she wants to meet them and wants to play. You'd have to see the look on people's face when they see what looks like a young rottie, sprinting at them. It's great!

I know how you feel, i grew up with animals my whole life even though im just 15 i still need to have them around and i still have a cat thats been with me scine i was born. His name is spanky and ive had him since the day i came home from the hospital. I also had his sister and another cat which we found as a baby stray. His sister died about five years ago and the other one we had to put to sleep about 2 years ago, i took that pretty hard, i didnt want to talk to any one, do anything, eat anything. It was sad having to do that but i still got spanky and not to long ago I got my dog maggi.

Ok, I had to post again. I got some pictures back the other day and found these. Cleo has this thing where she'll follow me into the bathroom and she loves lying on the towels in the cupboard. She just waits for me to finish showering or brushing my teeth or whatever, then when I'm done she follows me out. For a while, she'd go nuts when the toilet flushed. She'd hop up on the seat and watch the water....I think she was trying to figure out where it was going and/or where it was coming from.

Then, there's Peaches...just being as handsome as ever. I had a hard time getting his picture (which is why his ears are cut off) because every time I'd get down on the floor he'd come over to me wanting attention. He's a sweet boy though.

yeah right now we have the dog (astro aka ubermutt) and peekaboo our cat. shes super shy so its really hard to find her let alone photograph her. we had one orange cat named tiki who was by far the coolest cat you ever did see (grasshopper/moth hunter to the max) he unfortunately didnt come back one day, then we noticed the new foxes that felt like moving into the den behind our house =(. The next cats we got were Mickey (another orange cat) and peekaboo. mickey was pretty darn cool and was really buddy buddy with me, but he didnt quite wreak of the same coolness of tiki. he did unfortunately suffer the same fate =(. No more awesome orange cats until I move

well thought I might as well post something here. All of your pets are really cool and cute. I have 2 cats right now. The multicolored one with the white on it belly is Delta he yes HE is 4, the black one is Diesel but we had to put him down. He was only 2 years old but had defective kidneys when he was born and nothing we could do.

He was the best cat ever. He knew all the commands a dog does like come.... ok well I guess thats really it but atleast he would do that

You could hear him purrrrrrrr from the other room thats whay his name is Diesel and cause hes black. And finally the Grey one is Dagger. We got him after we put down Diesel. All the cats have come froma shelter or Delta we found under a car when it was 5 degrees out. He wasn't doing very good. Temp of 105 and very malnurished. The vet said he would live but we said other wise! There is alot more to all of them but i'll let you take a look.

I have two more pictures so here they are!! Oh by the way we (My Wife and I) Love fuzzzzy animals as your can see by our cats.
