consideration and game etiguett

i feel for you em...do you want chocolate chip or snickerdoodle?Peanut butter or raisen oatmeal?? So many choices!!!

So i was on last night and i know i havent played in a long time but i was suprised to see how many times people were voting for other maps on wave 10!! And complaining that ' Dieing is getting boring' GRRR!!! I asked politly that they dont vote till the map is done. I guess people dont hear so well...they wait for like another wave and then start it up again. I guess all i can do is ask but really people..play the game!! I love trying to stay alive the last wave!! Its what makes it fun!

Ok..im done venting for now...

( just a note, this was not seen with any regulars!)

There should be something that people can vote against changing map and have that vote count for 2 votes or something (make it the default selection so when map vote comes up you can just click and get right back to the game)

Im sure thiers a way to turn map voteing off at wave 3.or so.
takeing it off all together wouldnt be good. example past minor bugs ect..

but have a low wave cut off for the vote system i think will help greatly if thier are any bugs theyre useualy spotted before titan wave..and thats wave 6,

I noticed a lot of talk about kill stealing. I am going to clarify this , all monsters are fair game for all players. Kill stealing is part of the game. It is not reasonable to expect other players to keep track of what you are doing while they are trying to stay alive and kill monsters. It's just the nature of the beast. If you have someone following you around and intentionally taking your kills, while not very cool, is not against the rules. I dont think that happens very often but I know how frustrating it is when you have been working a titan over and somebody runs by and kills it but it happens and it happens a lot. Chances are everyone here has done it at the very least unintentionally. It would be nice if everyone payed attention and let people handle their business but unfortunately it doesnt always work out that way. Just thought I would put this out there for everyone to peruse.

However, you also seem to be saying you would prefer it if other people didn't attack any monsters you were dealing with. Would it help to have a list somewhere of those people who want to be left alone, and those who don't mind being helped? I know it would not be possible in a match to get it right all the time, but it might help a bit.

My problem is that I don't want to offend someone by helping when they didn't want it, but I don't want to stand by and watch someone get wiped out if I could have helped.

From my perspective, if I am 1-on-1 against a titan, I know who usually wins, and it's not me. I am usually first out on wave 14! I could say it's due to a relatively high ping, but it's actually lack of skill! I would much prefer to take titans on in a group effort.

Perhaps we could have parts of a map where people team together, and others parts where the individualists could go?

Perhaps on CTF/BR have red base for loners and blue base for team? This would of course mean no redeemers/ions in red base.

It would be way too hard to remember who wants to be helped and who doesn't. There are a ton of people who play on the server and more and more are joining the forum. Don't get me wrong, it's a good idea...there would be too much to remember though. I don't know about the rest of you, but I can barely walk and chew gum....

Just keep it simple: All monsters are to be killed. By whom, it doesn't matter. Besides, I believe it was Mystic who said shots get you experience, not kills. You're still getting experience, even if you only get one shot in before the monster kicks the bucket.

In the higher waves if you want help, just holler. I'm sure more than enough people would love to have some shots at a monster whose getting the better of you, if they aren't busy. You'll start surviving through the higher waves though, practice makes perfect!

As for map voting, is there a way to turn off the map voting after wave 3 unless it's really needed? I think the time it was needed that map didn't give experience or something freaky that I'd never understand.

How did all this talk get so serious...? I just said it was lame... And as far as I'm concerned it is lame if you're doing it on purpose.... unintentionally it happens 20 times a round, can't speak for anyone else, but it doesn't bother me. Like cpl said a few posts up, it's not illegal; it's not cool if you got someone following you cherrypicking, but it's not against the rules. That's the "consideration" part of the topic, this isn't a rules thread

. I am not as experienced as the rest of you, but I do know one thing. Team Effort. It is due to all of our efforts of killing to make it to wave 16 and Win the match. which may I remind you gives you extra experience points if we acctually win the map.
Of course All of us want and need experience points to level up. Some of us don't have adrenal drip and all the fabulous weapons of the world, and also need adrenaline to help us boost when we can't find health our shield. Or in my case, I shoot so poorly that I when I get hit by a monster, chances are i'm dead. And most of you see me die each round.. Alot of you can get 5k experience in a couple of hours. For me that takes a couple of weeks. So, lets share the monsters and kill or be killed. I also agree, we need to be more considerate of others.
I always apologize when I do somthing stupid, especially like blowin up someone by accident. But it doesn't happen often thank goodness.
