For those who own a Wii and would like them.... Wii is offering to send out free wii remote jackets to help in the reduction on the remote slipping out of hands, they soon will include this item with the Wii console.
I have sent for mine , 4 is the max you can request, and it is completely free, no shipping or any strings attached, you will need your serial number on the bottom of your Wii.
To request yours, you can go to wii.com or nintendo.com

One of my remotes has broken lights, though I don't think that had to do with a fall. I hope these covers look better in person, 'cause they look pretty ridiculous on the website. Put some ribbons and racing stripes on them and then we'll talk

lol maybe you people should just learn to hold onto things.... I can honestly say that I've never had the remote slip out of my hands..and I rarely use the wrist strap

My kid is 4, I'm just glad she can play the games.

She's never dropped one but like to use the wiimote as a baton when it's not her turn.

I'm familiar with that, my friends kids (11 and 8 ) use my remotes as lightsabers when it's not their turn. It's adorably dangerous!

I think half of the time it's not accidental slippage, but anger that you lost/died and trying to take it out on the screen with the nearest thing to chuck at it! LOL

I have one of the latest Wiis but I don't use the strap too much either. But I'm not taking chances with a game like Twilight Princess or Metroid Prime 3. Dangerous.
My nephew likes to use it as a sword though. It is a bit dangerous isn't it?

Furry and proud of it!
