Movie Stuff

Hven't seen Fritz the cat. I saw and loved Wizards, fell asleep during, Fire and Ice. But you know he was also responsible for the animated LOTR.

Yep, I forgot to mention the LOTR animation. I fell in love with it as a child, but recent viewings haven't quite captured the same spirit. The use of filmed actors for the Orcs is a rather good touch, and the Smeagol animation seems to have directly inspired Jackson's recent interpretation of him.

Pyro - Fritz isn't purple. He's... well... a very rude cat who smokes too many cigarettes. You won't see him bouncing along during Nick Jr!

ok i have to add the Sahara to my list! i just saw it and LOVED it! You have to see it in the theatre! it just rocks! Steve Zahn is the man!!

You know, I had just heard of Willow a few months ago. The person I watched it with thought I was from another planet just because I had never heard of it. Val Kilmer was awesome in it.

And while I'm typing (and bored out of my mind at work

Pirates of the Caribbean, anything Jim Carrey, Finding Neverland, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Miss Congeniality, the Rush Hours, Edward Scissorhands, anything Pixar, the Scarlet Pimpernell (with Jane Seymour), The Zorro movies (with Antonio Banderas and the older ones with Guy Williams), the Alien series, the Harry Potters, the LOTR's, Alice in Wonderland, Flight of the Phoenix. Ok, that's enough.

That's not a shamless plug taco, indies are in my opinion some of the best films around. Most of the ones I have seen have better acting, scripting, animation, etc... then "blockbusters" these days.
