Oh yeah, Em? I'll show you the game is afoot (why does Sherlock always say that, anyway)!
This is the song that never ends.
Yes it goes on and on my friends.
Some people started singing it not knowing what it was.
And they'll continue singing it forever just because...

it's the song that never ends?...lol
hmm where to start, i have tried not to reply to this because there is so much music i listen to....too many to name in here. i mostly love all 80's music, that is my fav. i like rap, um jay z sean paul tupac ice cube kanye west, love outkast at the moment. i like pop, brittney *gag* but i like some of her dance music stuff, mariah carey's new cd is pretty good, avril geez too many to name or think of. my last CD that i bought was jason mraz "curbside prophet". one of the best cd's i've ever listened to. i like oldies, old r and b, smooth jazz, classical...it just depends on my mood. was really big into korn in high school...haven't heard them come out with much latelyi like this irish singer damien rice (just saw the movie closer heh). i will have to make a list and post them one day hehe.

music! when i am at the comp, or working out, music is a necessity..i am not sure why....but i like it! i mentioned in another topic that one of the biggest constituents to a good gaming experience, no doubt about it. ut2004 has great tunes, of course
call me dorky, but i love video game musics enough to listen to the soundtracks and stuff over and over. i also like video game remixes done at http://vgmix.com/ and http://www.ocremix.org/ i have over 20 gigs devoted to video game music on my compy i enjoy every day :} video game music encompasses just about every genre of music out there...just give a listen to musics from the final fantasy series, metroid, and of course the latter castlevania games
anyhoo, i listen and have enjoyed non-video game music just as much. generally i find myself gravitating to techno and electronica stuff, but i like so much it really is hard to even say what is my favorite. i also really really enjoy the ambient synthesizer musics, sometimes deemed new age, which kinda bad term for it. such an example is kitaro...a really skilled musician. in the past i listened a lot to classic rock, like grateful dead, pink floyd, the doors, jimi hendrix, etc. rammstein is rather good i have found, pearl jam, and my goodness just so many i could list @_@
yes, i like music! :}

Mmmm. lots of music to choose from.
When relaxing or simply working on the computer can just pick up a Queen cd and play it, good old 80's songs and singers where the best.
A simple easy rule: "I like songs that don't make my speakers drool with the singer's spit" so most 90's songs are out of the list.
Then again while playing o working can put some game music form other consoles or put Siouxie and The Banshees on low volume and let the rhythm lead on.
Or while reaidng some soft music without lyrics, if its an action read like comic books or magazines, can put some techno and trance music, while when reading some fantasy novel Stoa, Enya or Cusco fills my room while I enjoy a good read.
I have no set taste for music, I like what I like and don't like what I don't like.
Yeah... I'm weird
