Does anyone know how to put music onto unreal?

I HATE the music they give you to listen to. So i mute it and dont listen to that but it gets boring just walking about with out a beat.. I know they have the music player and you could acces that by pushing F11 ( i think ) Can someone tell me how to put my music up their?

If you know where your music is on your hard drive you can browse for that directory in the built in media player.

With the player up, hit the + button on the bottom of the player. this will open playlists, now make a new playlist, name it, then hit add. Browse for any mp3's on your computer you wish to listen too, add them and your done!

Simple solution to this is turn the Music Volume down all the way =)
I've not listened to map music since ummm.... well I don't think I ever have.
It's amazing how hearing the monsters around you can help you stay alive =)

Acy I know that you live longer but its just boring..

I just open up Media Player before going into the game, play the songs i want then turn down the game music. The only problem with music is that you can't make out what some people are saying when they chat on the server, so you may have to sacrifice some weapon giveaways or useful hints such as "look out behind you!" for your music.
Its a risky decision to make.

If you use the built in player though, the music gets muted automaticaly if some one says anything.

I've tried to add my music files to the built in media player but i cant. All of my music files are Media Player Audio files whereas the music files in the UT2004 directory are .ogg. Is there a way to play them?

You must convert them to mp3, then they will work.

To bring up the built in media player just hit F11

I got some of my old music on it, and i got alot of new ones and i put them in the same file but unreal isnt finding them with the rest of the songs

look for a media converter to change the sound files to .ogg and put the .ogg files in the music folder. while playing the game, hit F11 and then add and remove what you want on the playlist. you can randomize it and/or repeat music. You'll have to do that everytime start UT. but once you start, the music carries on to the next map.

you can get a media converter online but some costs money. the free ones are hard to find. i found one that works but it only does the first 2 minutes and can convert to any type of music file.
