it came to mind a little while ago that it might be helpful and interesting to have a skill that allows for one to gain special weapons effects, like vampirism, healing, freezing etc to temporarily inhabit a current weapon in use.
i believe skill points for purchasing each ability would depend on what effects might be considered more overall effective than not ..like say quickfoot or healing would be few skill points to acquire compared to freezing or vorpal. once purchased, they'd be in the artifact window to scroll on, and adrenaline would drain over how long [uits it in use and/or turns it off.
the effect would also work in tandem with a weapon's ability if it already had one. for example, one could have a healing link gun, and turn on the effect of energy. the link gun would be a healing weapon normally, but when the energy skill turned on, it would give adrenaline from monsters you shoot.
perhaps with possible enemy modifications in the future, and based what i read in an earlier topic, maybe some enemies could be elemental and succeptible to the current freezing skill, and new skills available of fire, water, etc. its stuff like this that could make this rpg environment more rpg-like in a way :}
what do you all think of this?
