When I'm using weapon and it runs out of ammo, the game switches to another weapon, and sometimes that weapon is the redeemer. As you know firing a redeemer at close range upsets me a lot (and the people who happen to be next to me).
I like the atomatic weapon change but would like it if the redeemer wasn't one of the weapons it switches to and I'd still want to select the redeemer when needed. How can I set this up?
Also, on a side note my mini is the only weapon which doesn't switch when empty, it just keeps making the sound of firing, how can this be fixed?

The reason the game switches to the redeemer when you run out of ammo is because you have it set as the highest priority weapon in your possession. The only way to make sure this cant happen is to go into the settings menu and change the weapon priorities so that some other gun is higher than the redeemer.
Something to keep in mind though. If you put the link gun above the redeemer in the list, and you dont have a link gun but you do have a redeemer, it will still switch to the redeemer when you run out since its the next highest gun. If you put something like the assault rifle or translocator above the redeemer then you will never have this problem again.

It's never too late to set your nuke to dead last priority and your translocator to highest

Ive taken up the challenge of leaving my weapon priorities at default and just being really really careful. Usually I notice when the guns switch and let off the mouse button and that seems to work well for me. I like to leave my priorities as is because I have my scroll wheel button set to "best weapon" for when I need the best.

I like it when my mouse batteries get low, it will either continually fire or scroll back and forth through my weapons... :-0

Just a reminder...
There is also a toggle for weapon Auto Switch in the settings.
(like the others) I also suggest setting the weapon priorities (not only cause it's safer, but it's also more effective when it auto switches to a weapon you like using .
I've turned off my auto-switching for awhile now. It works well for me, except when I'm not paying that much attention and my mini runs outta ammo, but looks and sounds like it's firing =)

Also, if you set your translocator to the highest, it's pretty hard to hurt yourself it it auto switches, and also you can use it to get away.
