For any of you out there who use RPG and have Excel installed on your computer. Its a spreadsheet for calculating various stats for monster strength based on server settings and also a sort of map to your character development.

at .30 adjust factor, that's 30 levels for every 100 for the player. at 10 points per level, that's 300 for every 1000 for the player. those must be divided equally between damage bonus and reduction. so actually, that table should show 1/2 the monster stats in damge and reduction.
at least that's how i was informed it worked.

It does. At level 1000 with 10 points per level and .3 monster adjust, the monster would have 3000 points to spend. 1500 each in DB and DR.
Dont forget that on top of that, the monster is given bonus levels equal to 2x the current wave number. So if you are level 1000, then the monster at wave 1 is level 300 + 2 = 302. 302 * 10 points per level = 3020. 3020 * 1/2 = 1510.
Therefore, my stats sheet is very accurate. Ive been doing these calculations since UT2003 was the game we all played. Thanks for the interest though.

ahh, i see your math now. you are indeed correct. i wasn't exactally sure how the waves played into monster level, and this clarifies that.
is there a way to increase wave difficulty by more than a factor of 2? say 4?
wave 5= level 40 monsters

p.s. ut2k3, ahh how i miss the days of no speed caps, and regenerating redeemers...

Bonus levels being 2x the current wave number is a hardcoded value. The only thing you can adjust is the monster adjust overall. I run a 0.4 on my server for the time being but when I reset and lower the stat points per level I will drop down to 0.3.
