Super Smash Brothers Brawl

This game is coming out for the Wii in December and I can hardly contain myself! It looks awesome.

The three characters I really want to try out are Ike, Samus Zero Suit, and Metaknight. I hope the rumors are true about Nintendo possibly including Sonic in the game... though it seems fairly likely since Snake, being a Konami character, is already included in the game.

The whole concept of 4 different controllers seems kind of overwhelming, but it'll give a ton of flexibility for finding the most comfortable setup. I will most likely end up using gamecube controllers since I'm already used to those.

It's already up for preorder on amazon, I might just reserve mine tonight

Oh that's awesome! I heard they were thinking about adding him. I don't have a Wii, but I'm still pretty excited to play the game. I'm hoping that they grab Knuckles too while they are at it, but I'm just happy with Solid Snake

I wouldn't be surprised at this point, it seems like Nintendo is trying to release most characters with a counterpart. DK vs Diddy, Kirby vs Meta Knight, Pikachu vs Trainer, etc. Though I'm surprised they revealed Lucas instead of Ness. Maybe they'll add him later.

I will lovingly violate faces online when that game is released. My friends nd I are religious Smash players. We even bust out the 64 smash once in awhile.

I can't believe it's finally almost time for the smashing to continue. And Snake's in it! (not surprising though now that the first two Metal Gear games came out for the GC) For the past few months it's been on the Nintendo power's top five most wanted games for the Wii. But I'm still kind of hoping they decide to add in packs you could buy from the Wii online store they have and maybe add in a certain blue vixen or two tailed fox as counterparts to Fox and Sonic who are in the game now. (or at least a better looking Fox then the DS version they're using.)

Man i they make us have to BUY characters or maps I would be very dissaponted.

I seriously doubt that. Nintendo already unveiled the stage builder and the ability to share your creations with other Wii owners, so it would be kind of dumb to turn around and say that they will charge for those services. Plus, add-on packs would add to the total cost of the game, and price competitiveness is one of the Wii's strengths.

Not what I meant guys. What I mean is that they could add in packs for free. (wii points after all are about twenty bucks for 2000 which can buy you four Genisis games from them). Like how UT has their patches and things like that that had a new character sets and vehicles in them when we upgraded and didn't have the editors edition. I mean that sort of updating, not paying for it literally.

This was announced on the Smash brothers website yesterday:

Due to delays in the completion of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, we’ve had to change the release date of the game to Sunday, March 9th.

I deeply apologize to the people who have looked forward to playing the game for so long and ask that you hold on just a little longer. Thank you for your patience.

This is the SECOND delay for the game. I wish there was a button on my Amazon preorder for, "NO! CHANGES NOT ACCEPTED! BAD NINTENDO!"

Well, they are tweaking the WiFi play more and more to make it the best they can. Plus, with the level editor and the ability to share your levels online, you can't blame them for continuing work on it to make it the best they can. I'll accept this one, but not a third one!

So it was fake after all. This is supposedly the real thing (there are gameplay shots to prove it). A whole mess is stuff was leaked today.

How does "Robot" even move around?! I mean, the thing has no legs! It's just that robot torso attachment for the NES.
