Bringing the PAIN : a guide to glory (nudge nudge wink wink)

due to the overwhelming praise heaped upon PAINKILL lately I have decided to write this guide (my ego has been getting extremely inflated lol )

Bringing the PAIN
first get a bright/loud/large skin
I prefer the gloriously golden skin http://www.disastrousconsequences.com/dcforum/posts/list/3181.page
this is a must so you are easy to see from a distance

become a medic (duh), now go out and watch some other medics
Brandi seems to be everywhere when you need her, Oni is easily recognizable by the horde of monsters following him, TON is...well alive when everyone else isn't,my favorite was MeatMedic as he played more like a LW than a medic
now forget what they do and follow this guide

now you need to find a suicidal LW (except Mystic you''ll never keep up to him) and heal heal heal . a higher level AM will do in a pinch (see ECHO), but they are harder to find and even harder to keep alive .When possible stand in the direct line of fire of said player so you can heal them to full quicker (you'll get some residual healing from the blasts and you can always heal yourself later)
of course you'll need the medic awarness skill (at least lvl 1) as nothing screams I need help like a blazing red bar running past you away from the monsters
get your adren drip and adren as high as you can because the long distance "I think someone is over there " heal blast occasion heals someone,and some players refuse to hold still and be healed (Blade cough cough level 400 or not could you stop once in a while )

keybind a ""you're welcome" saying as you are polite and gracious medic

Anytime someone is handing out a good weapon get a copy as chances are someone you weren't following around healing will die and need a copy
be prepared to stand under elevators to block an entrance as you can stand there and heal everyone in the room at the same time
anytime you see the skaarj wave coming go beserk and run around looking at the ground in their midst it is a great way to 'protect' you're fellow players from harm,this works for Titans too but use a medic link and don't get too close (Squishy underfoot is the medic)

if you see an artifact lying around 'hatch' it . When you have all that extra adren you can try to make some magic weapons to hand out, and LWs are always looking for a rod or a mwm and if you get a good one drop weapon hand it out to your chosen heal receiver, or a low level character if your healie doesn't want it (low level characters are usually weapon deficient so they appreciate the help)

I think I've covered the basics here so be prepared for fame and glory

when I first joined the server the medics that were on (Brandi) kept me alive , now when I see a player with less than full health I HAVE to stop and 'top ' them up its almost an addiction

Nice thread painkill.....lol..yeah i should prolly get awareness....o.0..lvl 65 and still havtn gotten it.....

Oh one thing i think you neglected to say to get is Adren drip....it is a life saver..o.0...(healing blast wise i depend on this..)..
also rods can be benfical to medics too if youve got full adren (with drip...) and the DD pops up...match its with a medic rocket..and you can rlly stack up some points..o.0.

ps ..my skin isnt loud is it?..

ps ps i completely agree with the lvl 4 xp healing..lvl 1..takes so looooong..

Jason you are right forgot to mention the dd with berserk and medic rl it RULES,the adren drip is in there I hated having to wait to get my medic wep going and berserking is soo much fun,
my exp heal is only level 4 so about 1 xp per RL shot but I don't heal for the xp just the satisfaction (well mostly for the satisfaction

)

and yes ROADKILL_v3.4 is my LW , PAINKILL_v3.4 my MM
not to be confused with Roadrash the mighty level leader or his other persona Roadwork
the v3.4 was the only way to differentiate from the roadkills online, Painkill comes from the fact that I work in a pharmacy and it just sounded right but it has made some confusion as to who I am I know several players didn't catch on right away strangely enough ECHO got it right away

but I don't play my LW much anymore because there are only a few medics around with the rash that is the engineer class (joking) and its always funner staying alive and score higher (the 40 to 50's are tough as a LW)

oh and this was an excuse to pimp my skin so download it people and see me in my glorious golden glory

Personally I like wandering the map with very little health with a rage flak 10, it adds another dimension to living dangerously. I also like to berserk with a rage flak during the titan waves....now that is FUN!
