you can use a combiner or multiple combiners but they dont accept a final blend or a shader into the texture slot. I'd think the best way to try that is look at the shaders your trying to combine for the textures / panners /spinners and masks used in them then make a combiner that would be added to a new shader.

It is possible to switch shaders every second, so you could cycle through a number of shaders. I did it whilst I was experimenting putting multiple power-ups on weapons. However, it gets a bit too visually distracting.

forgot to mention overlays, if the alpha transparencies were translucent then it would have the effect of using 2 shaders but youd probably need to make or modify your own textures/shaders to use with that way.
