Whin I here the name WeponsMaster I think of 1 thing.

!!!BULLET TIME!!!

It could take a spesified amount of Adrenalen per sec.
Slow down the world and speed up the person.

there ar allready meny Mutators that do this"some listed below and where i found them".

The only problem is when a WM player activates a skill like this, everyone would be moving in bullet time. There's no way you could have one player "move like they do" without affecting everyone.

You could make it so only WM players can activate bullet time, but it would kind of ruin the idea of an exclusive ability if everyone suddenly gained the same advantage.

I would also have to say that since it deals with an ability which uses adren, instead of a WM type ability, this would be more of a AM type ability. Of course, if an AM were to fire something like this off which benefited everyone alive, maybe there would be less grumping about this being a AM ability.

thats a common misconseption. what i will do is speed u up but make it look slow. it will not afect eny 1 ealse. ive tryed it on meny servers and it works very well.

the reason i say WM is because everyone is mad at the AM'S.
ti could be lvl 1 for everyone and lvl # for the WM.
every lvl it increases the speed and decreases the adrenlen or whatever.
it's activated by a simple key.

That sounds impossible. Name one server (with IP addy) so I can see the only server in existence that can defy physics. ;-)

Bottom line: EVERYONE has to be playing in real-time or people, places, and actions in the game would get out of sync. If one person sees everything going slower, then everyone would have to.

It's like this example:
You and I are in a game and just racing from point A to point B, and we are both running the same exact speed/distance/time in the game so that we tie the race. Now, I think we agree that we both played the race on our computers for the same amount of real time... say, 2 minutes. What if one of us were to go into this "bullet time" so that you and I, and even the race, appeared slower or faster just to YOU. The race would have to take longer or shorter for you in REAL time as well, or we'd BOTH see the difference and be affected by the "bullet time" entropy.

If any two people were out of sync in the game due to the speed difference, whether it be faster or slower, then the server would not be able to compute the interactions between people in real time. The only way it works in Max Payne and such is because you are playing against a simulated AI, who can be speeded up or slowed or even stopped in reality while you get more time to react. When the time tally is taken, the "AI Player" would have experienced only 1 minute while you experienced 2... and that can't happen in a real game against real people in real space-time.

But, then again... prove me wrong. Please! :-D

Exactly.

I've played with the Monkey Matrix Moves mutator before so I know how it works. When one person activates bullet time, everyone on the server is affected by it. They all see things moving slow and their reaction times are faster so they can dodge bullets, etc, etc...

What we are trying to tell you Spartin, is that you can not possibly make it so one person moves in bullet time while everyone else is in normal time. If it affects the game speed it will affect everyone at the same time.

Hmmm... I could get used to that actually. But only if it was a slow, smooth play and not just a simulation of LAG heheh. ;-)
