Pic for mmik....

Some of us were talking about old console games and I told mmik I would post a pic of my PS1 collection. Some are retail and some are from "other places" but hey, if the PC ever dies I'll never be bored.

What's I'd like to know is HOW DID YOU PAY FOR ALL THAT?!

Also, did you play ALL of them or were you just trying to collect every single game?

That's an insane amount of games for just one console....I have 22 for the PS2 and that's because my bro and I share it so we buy different games for ourselves...if I were to add ALL of my families GBA, DS, GCN, PS2, PC, and SNES games we would still not have nearly the amount you have for just one console...

i got like, 30-40 games orso for my PS1
though not that much

i think i know what you mean by this, and yes, i got them from 'other' places aswel, or atleast, little over 50% that is.

I thought about trying to collect them all at one time but it was just too many (over 2000 just in North America alone). So I just ended up with the ones I have. As for how I paid for them: Some I just bought, some I copied from Blockbuster and some I got frima friend in Taiwan. He would tried me games for stuff he wanted here in the States they don't have over there.

LoL ... there are things in life you can belive and things you can't, but at the end there are things that is hard to belive but they do exist.

Umm, no I haven't finished all of them as my Japanese is rather poor so for a lot of them I would need help from a friend who is rather ill at this point or go to gamefaqs.com (great site for walkthrus btw) and print out about 50 phone books of hints. In total there are somewhere between the high 500 to mid 600's in games. I don't have the exact number as some of the games are multi-disc games. Plus I have about 30 or so games I haven't put into CD cases. I can tell you it is over 800 discs as that is how many those racks will hold.

are they in alphabetical order??? that might be fun to do when thiers no power unless u decided to waste a day in doing so

Basically there are in alphabetical order. I mean why put them on the shelves all hodge podge? I do have to go thru them soon just to make sure they aren't too mixed up which should at worst take an hour or so.

That's a lot of games...A lot more than I have anyway.
