Recent to past: Brother in arms: Road 30, got bored of FarCry (too much foil-age and a little slow paced), HL2 (disappointed in it, cuz they had to change the story due to the code leak), Doom 3 (predictable like the original).
Old time favorites: Starcraft, Brood War, Return to Castle Wolfenstein (online only), Half Life, HL: Opposing Force, Rogue Spear.
Gamecube: Resident Evil 4, SSX 3, Metroid Prime, Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0.
I been waiting for action games to come out with an RPG element to it and I finally found it here. So this is all I play now. Best $40 I ever spent.

ooh, i can't believe i didn't respond to this post. i have been gaming since the atari came out in my very young childhood. since then i mostly played the regular consoles of nes, genesis, dreamcast...well...almost every sega/nintendo/sony console there was <_<
i love rpg games, i have many. i also enjoy strategy and action/adventure games very much. the final fantasy series is one i have followed all the way! there is so much i could cover, but generally i just like gaming.
i will just give a short list of the games series i have enjoyed:
shining force series
final fantasy series
shinobi (genesis and ps2--the ps2 ones are hard but real neat)
zelda series all the way!
mechwarrior/mechassault/mechcommander series
halo series
spyro series (purple dwaggy so cute :} )
ecco the dolphin series
panzer dragoon series
metroid series
starfox series
lunar series
and many more!
i think games need to have good play control, story, and of course music! i love video game music, i have over 20 gigs of game soundtracks and video game remixes from overclocked and vgmix. i love ut2004's music a lot n_n
my first taste of fps gaming came from the first ut game, my first pc game. then i bought star trek voyager elite force and elite force 2, enjoyable games. then i got ut2004! the only console fps game i played have been the halo series :} ever since joining dc, i have become much better at fps gaming since i spend so many hours fragging nowadays!

So essentially you're saying if I dont build Tuff Sheds then I build Weak Sheds? What if I take the battle elsewhere and say that I dont build any sheds.... duh.

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

I myself have been playing a lot of Guildwars since it came out. It is a truly great game. I hooked up with one of the Something Awful clans and it's been a pretty fun ride, despite the catch phrases.

I play mostly by myself in Guild Wars which is pretty sad because its an online game. Not sure if i should join a guild or not. By yourself or in a party its still a great game.

You don't really NEED a party of humans for most missions in the game in GW. I've done loads of them with just bots, in fact probably the fair majority.
As for a guild just make sure they mesh with what you wanna do... Cause if you know what you're doing, in under a month you'll be ready for PvP and GvG action if that's your aim. Lotta guilds aren't reliable or organized when it comes to scheduling events. I made the mistake of joining a guild that didn't mesh with me, before i know it, I have 2 characters that have cleared all the story missions, and the rest of the guild is about 2/3s of the way through the game and logging on once a week.

There's other games?
bah!
I've been playing UT since it came out way back when.
I didn't get all the upgraded versions, but had fun with what my PC could handle.
Before that... I was a MUD'er. Give me any PC with telnet capabilities and I had a blast =) Just ask the hotel I used to be night auditor for.... tweaked the 'reservation computer' to do my bidding during the night.
muahahah

It wasn't much, but it was enough to run a little telnet program and let me kill people via textually base assassination
My boss always wondered why I had no problems staying awake all night =)
