I thought it was pretty funny!
I think the uncle is really funny. I just like how he is video taping himself throwing the football and checks out his muscles while sitting at the table.

You gotta have skills man, like nunchuck skills or computer hacker skills.
This may have been the most unfunny funny movie of all time. I have seen it twice and hated it both times, but every time I think of a line from the movie I laugh. Not sure what to make of that.

I think I laugh most when the uncle chucks his steak at Napolean.. lol.. i've always wanted to chuck a steak at someone.. Oh how fun it would be!

well I know I thought it was dumb the first time I saw it... however watching it 6 more times made me change my mind, it's pointless and so very funny!!! I'm a big fan of the melon napoleon throws at the van, just watching the uncle's reaction gets me every time.. or when napoleon jumps the fence.... ah good movie

Yah, it is most certainly a specific type of humor. I sorta feel sorry for the guy in certain parts. When he is in a head lock, it reminds me of when I had some kids put me in a headlock and take turns hitting my head with their fists. Or, when he is at the dance and his date walks off, yup, that happened to me. I still think it is a funny movie, though. That uncle is holarious.

No problemo. Everyone should see this movie at least once. Its a little different for people outside of Utah. Like when they're asking the girls to go to the dance with them....its a tradition to do a little thing. Seems like the most popular thing is to trash the room of the person you're asking. Also, the place he is when he finds his dancing video (and the suit for the dance) is NOT Wal-Mart. Its the DI. Deseret Industries is a place where people can take their donations. I think the LDS started it.

Anyway, the parts you all named always get me laughing, but the best part is when Deb is at the door trying to make money for college and Kip says "You're mom goes to college!" Then looks very smug and pleased with himself.

I can't explain it either. I don't think its supposed to have meaning. It just sounds funny and always makes me laugh. (I do love my mom though.)
