In keeping with Chameleon's efforts to keep everyone entertained.....

How many of you have body modifications (tattoos, piercings, brands, etc).
I know in the pics of yourself forum, I saw a few (Cont's is the only one I remember).

I've got both ears pierced (2guage) and my tongue pierced (4guage). For those that don't know, I was a body piercer and apprentice tattoo artist for almost 4 years. If the enviornment had been a bit more *cough* legally minded, I'd still be there. Unfortunately, some boneheads just can't keep themselves from doing drugs, etc. (This was outside of work, but I lived with the same people that owned the shop, so it was kinda mixed.)

I have 10 (I think) tattoos. Some are small, some are big. I think the most time I have in one is the tiger on my leg and it's got about 20 hours in it.
Currently, I have the following areas 'touched':
Right Bicep
Left Bicep
Left Calf
Right Calf
Right Shin
Back of the Neck
Right Forearm
Right Wrist
Left Wrist
Right Inner Forearm

There, now you can count them.. it's ten =)

I've got a few pictures, but I've not located them yet. They're kind of old and stuff. =)

I used to have a 12guage labret (under lip) and a 8guage frenum.

Labret was removed due to morons in the workplace and the frenum was removed for better placement, but unfortunately I left the shop before it was redone and then the Master Piercer that had done mine (and taught me) died suddenly. So it never got replaced. Got a little scar to prove I had it though =)

4 piercings.

Right ear: 1 cartilege and 1 lobe
Left ear: 2 in the lobe

One of these days I want a tattoo, but haven't really decided where or what of. (The whole nali with a sheild gun thing was a joke) I'm thinking either on my calve or on the back of my neck. Easily hidden if the need arises, but easily shown off as well. I drew a nifty flower looking thing a few years ago and saved it. I was thinking that or some cool looking Pisces symbol.

Any thoughts?

I don't have anything, but a few of my friends do. One of them has the Italian flag on his upper back. This girl I know has a ton of tattoo's. I like the one she has on her whole leg. It is a big dragon that starts on top of her foot and goes up the side of her leg to about mid thigh. It looks pretty cool. I couldn't have something like that, but still, it looks cool.

We used to do some pretty kewl tribal designs with a zodiac symbol centered in a 'cup' of sorts. Basically the tribal design framed the symbol.
Looks nice and can be put just about anywhere. They're not usually small though. They make really nice lower back pieces.

Did you work at a tattoo place? Maybe I read that and missed it. Do you have some of those designs in your computer I could see? Ok, now for the pain factor. I can handle stuff, but I'm a pansy. Is getting a tattoo on the back of your neck more dangerous than your calf? I'm sure the neck is a little more tender. I don't know, everyone says tattoos are very addicting. I may end up doing one on my neck, then doing another on my leg.

Hello:

I am going to get 2-3 on my stomach of cats - not sure which ones yet but they will be cute animated looking cats and will also get Kitty under one of them that will be a black cat. I had Kitty for 18 years and he was black with evil green eyes but he was cute looking. The other cat will be pink. I picked up some funky looking greeting cards 2 days ago with cats on. This means I am getting closer to have them done. I have to find a good artist to do them right, no rookies.

Yah, I worked in a shop for a few years. I don't have much on my machine, but if you check out Cherry Creek's flash, you can see some simple tribal stuff. That would be an idea to get some ideas =)

Check out Set 3. The biggest print has some ok looking stuff. It's not great, but you get the idea of the look I'm talking about.

That's awesome. You'll have to show off the black one with green eyes for Halloween! I was watching Ripley's one night and saw a bit where a guy decided to use phosphorescent (dang, I hope nobody knows how to spell that...) ink in his tattoos. That might be cool for the green eyes. Or do the eyes and outline it with the same green.

Those are really cool. I like the one with the Tiger head. Now make that a bright blood red....maybe just that...yes. Does it stand for anything?

wow, i couldn't really find a good picture of the tattoo, but you can kind of see what it looks like. i've also heard that getting one on the wrist is pretty painful...so don't expect to see this on my wrist anytime soon LOL.
