Hey Druid,
satore put out v 1.20 of the monster pack.
quote from readme:
Code:
============ Version History ============
============ for UT2004 ================
Version1.20
performance fixed
Maybe you want to test this one and see if the CPU usage is down?

It's actually working great on our server, except that Giant Gasbags are still leaving behind much gore.
I've been running it for around a week now

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

Sorry, Dru. Would love to help you out here, but I can't see a thing. There's this huge, undefinable, rolling red blob, and it's headed straight for me!! AAaaaagggghhh!

Yeah thats only because of its size. Any monster you make that large will gib super huge all over. I have metal skaarj that do the same thing. You feel like you are swimming through a junkyard or something.

I downloaded the 120 release, but it doesn't come with an ini or anything to verify things are the same as before. Can I just replace all of the "118" with "120" in the satoremonsterpack.ini file, or are there any changes? We're still on 116 at DAWGA. To my knowledge, all the ini settings are the same, just internal updates went on. Does anyone know differently?

yes, nothing in the ini file has changed in quite some time. just replace all 116 with 120 and roll .. remember to get the lines in UT2004.ini and also anything else making calls to satore.
