Skin Question

Hi, i have been playing on the server for a few weeks now and I had a questions. Is there a list of skins that work on the server anywhere? (and even better a place to download them) There are a bunch of skins I have that never work. I was hoping to have a unique skin that myself and the other players could see.

i look here regularly for new models and skins, though in the past i have found many others on different sites. some of the rare neat skins usually aren't made publicly available.

when you download the file and open the zip, make sure to follow the "readme" file precisely on where to place each portion of the model/skin. hope this helps! :}

Thank you for your reply. I can get most skins to work in one player and even on some other servers (so i know there installed properly) but i can't get then to work on the DC server. I was wondering if there were other skins out there that would definatly work on the DC server.

Perhaps DC would accept a small monetry consignment to accept a skin on the server? (this may seem like going a little far but i REALY want to run around as optimus prime (huge 80's cartoon geek)).

Honestly dunno... I have loads of models installed and they all work on the DC server. Are you having problems with skins or models?

what your probably doing is chosing a skin team color. and some skins do not come with that so therefore you get the default, Jakob. Double check that you do not have a team color chosen.

To the best of my knowledge, we do not have any setting that disables certain skins (although everything on our server is subject to the server agreement), so there should be no reason on our side why a skin would not work. I would bet that edomingox is correct.

poor poor klok.....cee the poor man is my boyfriend, and yes he is a very huge cartoon geek, but the funny thing is, now this is whats makin him pull out his hair, is that his Optimus Prime skin worked for about a day, and then all of a sudden, he was jakob! so pay him no mind, I'll give him a transformer to play with

Some maps may not have an type of an effect, and when that happens sometimes you may have your charactor for one map and then have the default charactor for another (took me a month of trail and error to get my skin to work on all maps)

thanks for the infomation. i did get one skin i like to work in a few maps last night. it seems if you A) don't choose a team color and B) change skins after getting the map th load it mat work, sometines.
