Hey everyone,

I am moving to a place that wont have cable/Dsl and well, I won`t have anything else to use but dial up.... Or Satallite. I was just wondering if anyone knew what would run better for me, I herd Satallite is alittle better then Dail up, BUT it's very expensive, and lets face it im cheap. lol, Anyways i was wondering if anyone knows if Satallite can run 2 computers( at once)? And maybe a good company.

That is also why i havent been on For a couple months. Between that and my router goin haywire, I haven't had much time. Hope to be back on real soon.

Ok here's how it works....

Dial-up: Slow but the lag can be somewhat tolerated (just look at DD).

or

Satellite: Slightly faster than dial-up but it does have a full second (or two) delay before your action is recognized. Ex: you shoot at a krall...one second later it hits

No matter what you choose you will have lag. Personally I would go with dial-up. I'm sorry to hear about your situation.

I've got satellite and it's always worked fine for me. I'll find out what company if you're interested.

Check out what they may have in wireless internet connection too (uses the wireless connection simular to a cell phone), the ones I seen have about 256k connection, then there is go digital, IDSN.

hi p i got wireless 512 up and 512 down. but its 49.99 a mo. but it works ok. hard rain your out, high winds your out, but i can play

lol Hakuna... Wireless and Satellite are two different things. Wireless is pretty good, satellite is pretty bad. Satellite is very fast, but the latency(ping)is very high. So you can download real fast but your game will lag big time. Wireless is pretty fast and has pretty good latencey(much better than dial up) .
