I love the skins it's just I don't want to be pansy Chaos Marines or Ultramarines who eat, sleep, and breath the codex and who likes people who follow that many rules?

The Black Templar or the Space Wolves would are the two coolest chapters so a re-skin to one or both those would be best.

Black Templars (kinda rough but good for a color scheme)

Space Wolves (again just good for color scheme)

...forgot to post the skin link

I was thinking of reskinning the Space Marine myself a while ago
but found the texture layout rather complex as the skin for all 3 models is on one texture
I'm actually very surprised no one has done some already as they are very popular models in previous incarnations
I'd try but skinning is not my strong suit maybe Jefe would be interested but I've already asked him to do my 2nd Cylon (Centurian)

wasn't necessary wanting a complete re-skin just a color change really seeing as the current model doesn't have the chapter symbol on the shoulder anyways

Meh, there IS a Black Legion Marine for Q3, maybe Roadkill would rather consider converting it for you. As I have the link, here:

http://ioquake3.org/files/models2/q3mdl-chaos-marine.zip

Click and download starts.

I guess converting it might be easier, but if you do that I would rather have a regular space marine instead of a Chaos Space Marine. The only difference between the models of a SM and a CSM are the horns, colors, jet pack, and Space Marines don't wear the 8 pointed star on their pauldrons. All the differences are apparent in the current UT models.

and the Black Legion is different from the Black Templars by a Horus Herasy and several thousand years.

I'm gonna take a look at the new one again and try to puzzle out the mesh a bit
thanks to Jefe I know how to move the model around in Unrealed so no guarantees but I'll try

EDIT after a quick looksee I found the shoulder pads they are collapsed so only symmetrical symbols will work (the arrow not wolf) and would be the same on both shoulders so its a no go, a conversion is something I'm not going to be able to do unfortunately
too much on the go and too little time to do it (maybe after I complete the tutorial which I'm slow getting too)

Good news I found a file converter for .ukx and have found a way to adjust the skin mesh so clan signs will be possible
I'm going to try and contact the original designer to see if he is ok with me doing this
just the basic Space marine model though I'll do up a basic reskin and open up the clan signs for others to do probably

You, good sir, are awesome.
The work you do is blessed by the Emperor himself and the Adeptus Astartes salute you.

...Sorry, I get a little carried away sometimes, but really thanks for taking time to do this.

oh and one last thing, FOR THE EMPRAH

if this gets released for mass consumption I want to make sure most combination are possible
need to remap the shoulders a little as they are stretching a bit too much at the top
going to try to contact the original designer soon

If you need help with the colors and designs of the other chapters I'll be happy to help.
Me, Lt. Crumpet, and seige are pretty big into 40k.

http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Space_marine

That is a link to a page with cannon information on the marines. All the main chapters are in the chart and just below it. On the chart there is a column for loyalty, this designates whether they are Space Marines(loyal) or Chaos Space Marines(traitor). edit: on a side note the Alpha legion says unclear, but are generally regarded as a Chaos Marine chapter.

I'm not asking you to do all of them, just giving you all the info you need to do what you want and again I appreciate you going though all and look forward to the results.
