The version of this map on the server has a messed up skybox, so I added in a new, improved one. I made a few changes to lighting, and added a health charger at the top of the mountain. I removed the seagulls, since the fly around like rockets online. I also changed the water damage from 25hp/sec to 1.5.

If you can think of any other improvements/fixes I should make, feel free to post your ideas.

I also added a new song, (Confrontation from Soul Calibur) since I couldn't find the original.

I reworked the lighting some more this evening so that it would better match the skybox and look more dramatic. I also fixed some issues with both pathing, but they're still not perfect. Download is still at the same link, but the file is now updated.

I'm having a similar issue with one of my maps. Its similar to the sky in the pic of before you edited it. How did you fix this?

Well, at first I tried fixing the original skybox, but I didn't have much luck, so I put a new one in. It's pretty tough getting it aligned correctly unless you start from scratch. This is what helped me the most:

from http://www.hazelwhorley.com/tutorials/skyboxes.html

Step 3: Texture Alignment
Skybox textures use different Clamp Modes than ordinary textures. This prevents white lines and seams from appearing at the edges of the cube by smearing the texture's pixels right to the edge of the face it's applied to. When the textures are first applied however, they're aligned wrong, so the texture sometimes appears as a block of colour or lines. Here's how to align it properly:
Do this for each side of the cube, one at a time:

1. Right-click the surface and click Alignment > Face
2. Right-click the surface and go to Surface Properties. Click the Pan/Rot/Scale tab and click both the buttons labelled "1" under Pan U and V.
3. If the texture still isn't aligned completely you can use the Texture Pan tool to align it manually.
4. Don't forget to make the texture unlit by checking Unlit in surface properties.

Okay I just tried that, but only 2 surfaces were properly aligned. All others were still cut by means of weird matters. Some had lines going diagonally as well as others having long endless streaks. Aligning the surfaces manually somehow makes it worse.

Almost forgot, make sure your skybox is well away from any other bsp, both veritically and horizontally. That will also cause problems.
