A couple of years ago, we purchased the TX-6000 dance pad. They *look* fantastic:



After 6 months of wear and tear, the first one broke down. Turns out some of the solder on one of the connectors came loose. Easy enough to fix except you cant get inside the box without destroying the back of the controller.

That's when I learned that these all metal controllers are actually a lot more wood than metal.

Additionally, the other controller began to show signs that someone was going to step through the cheap plywood construction.

These controllers list on our worst purchases of all time list, and receive a firm two thumbs down from me.
