I have implemented some slight tweaks to the Engineer class in cvs. These may change once I get feedback from Druid/Shantara, but I think they are sensible:
  • Shield Blast changed from 50 adrenaline to 30. It does no where near as much as the medic healing blast, so shouldn't cost as much. EDIT: now reduced to 25, as not only does it not do as much, but engineers do not get adrenal drip
  • When you link to a turret, if you are healing it, the turret gets no boost and you get no xp. Then, after a second of no healing, the turret gets the boost and xp is shared. I felt 1 second was too long, and so have changed the delay to 0.5 seconds.
  • Defense Sentinels have their range increased from 400 to 600, and their fire rate increased from 0.8 seconds to 0.6 seconds. Without these changes, offensive sentinels are too much more powerful than the defensive sentinel. The defensive sentinel is still under review as to whether it is worth keeping or not
  • Third sentinel added for Engineers when they get to level 130. Thinking ahead here. A long time ahead.
