I'm going to add in drones for engineers in 209. You can check them out here http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=523655

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

I was concerned with drones that they might not quite match what we want.
One of the things they do is heal the Engineer, which is something I thought we wanted to reserve for medics. Engineers might be too powerful if they can self-heal. However, I believe this can be configured out.
Would this be as an extra sentinel, or would it be a skill they buy which automatically gives them a bot? How many would you limit it to.
I had started to code a new sentinel which would be similar (see this thread), but if you want to use drones instead that's fine. Saves me some work.

Let's see how it plays, and if it works out poorly, we can learn from it and try and code something up of our own.

You're right though, they may not be what we want. I just wanted to code something fun today and this looked easy

There's a fix for them. Now you cant easily get 15 drones.
For some reason, the drones decided to shoot at players... I'll have to test them again next build.
Sounds like your plans may work out better Szlat
