The HUD on the engineer still flakes back and forth between the count down timer, and not showing it, but the larger problem is the names of the artifacts can vanish. Here's how to duplicate it:
1) Summon a ball turret in a small corridor, such that you cant get out.
2) Suicide. You'll be ejected but your hud gets mangelated.
