I doubt that it will be windows itself because it sounds to me you have the same problem that ive been having.. and now mine doesnt work and the only resonible things that i could think of are: The power supply has died
OR
The computer over heated because it was in a tight spot.. (but im not so sure about that myself because ive had the computer this for a long period of time without any problems like that before. And the inside itself wasnt bad at all)
