Umm, I don't know what to type that would not bore you guys to death so I'll just stick to general facts...

My real name is Gaciel (10 bucks if you can pronounce that right the first time around; and yes it is a guys name!) and I'm currently a Senior in my HS in Tucson, Arizona at the ripe age of 17. I've recently been accepted to Collin's College in Tempe, Arizona to aquire a BA in Game Design in 2 and a half years (year round school) and I am currently unemployed due to school. I found this server about 2 weeks after I bought this game in February of 05 with no clue to what invasion was and hardly any clue to what I was suppose to do with stat points. (I had that sign flashing for a week until I figured out the whole stat point thing).

I also love watching movies, anime, reading manga, playing tennis, swimming, staying up way too late, procrastinating, tasting new foods, cooking, playing with my dog Dory, watching comedy shows, and hanging out with friends. I'm probably the worst party guy ever since I find them annoying but I'll do pretty much everything else.

As my signature says I have 3 names which I alternate on the server. I tend to try something new pretty much every day and don't like repetitions much in just about anything.

Well, that's all I could think of right now...I have the flu and I'm up at 2:30 a.m., I'll heal in no time!

Gay-shull? Pardon the syllable's spelling. If not that, gay-shell, gay-shee-el, gah-sheel, gah-seel, gah-shull, gah-shell...

Haha, it's cool...I think the weirdest was when some substitute teacher called me "Glacier" I swear she couldn't read...

Sorry Kohan but the closest you were at was at Gah-seel

Anyway, you would pronounce it Gah-see-l (just say the letter "L" at the end)

It's Spanish btw...I'm 1/4 Yaqui Native American, 1/4 Opata Native American, 1/4 Spanish, and 1/4 Chinese....born in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico. Raised in Tucson, Arizona. Odd how I'm Mexican by birth yet so Americanized that most people don't realize I can speak Spanish fluently until they hear me.

A little bit about myself in an original way:
Hey there!

Why valuable you may ask! and that is easy to aswer Timmy(Timmy is the cabin companion i have or my alter ego if you like)
Cause the first one to die is (almost always) ME! (lol)

So how can you recognize me? its easy too timmy!!
Im always DxZ ...or the guy that has conn problems and cant hear voice chats! What a guy!

And to be sincere timmy, i must say i may quit my job cause it is starting to iterfere with my obligated 8 hours of UT

And everyone! thats the end of our broadcast, i hope you like it
Be back next week with more info...

lol
now the boring stuff

Im Eduardo, live in Mexico, 18, love music, love games.
I have german and french ascendency although i havnt been there or know the languages though i would love to.
Ive been a gamer since i had 4 yrs old with space invaders, jungle hunt and atari (dunno #) commodor 64 so ive been playing games for a while hehe

I play everything that comes to my hands, with exceptions like some TBS, but everything besides that, and i mean it
My Humor is mostly sarcastic, and mostly too complicated.

Music i like: Dream Theater, Depeche Mode, Infected Mushroom, old Metallica songs, Classical, almost everything except country and the like...

Girls i like: Kate Backinsale, Alizée, Mena Suvari

Games i like: all Final Fantays, all UT, all Need For Speeds, Starcraft, Neverwinter Nights, LotR: TROTK

Ive been in the server for about 1 or 2 weeks, im still there and i will, cause its great, really, the only 2 things i complain about are:

1. Not getting there b4(but i couldnt any way just bought the game)
2. everytime i try to kill something someone killz it first and when i arrive to the room full of monsters all i see is huge gibs rollin around and no more monsters... hahaha lol

Hi All,

Well decided to officially say hello and reveal just some minor details about myself.
The name is Colin and I go by the nick of "Ducatisto"(Weapons) or "Ducatisto.MD"(Medic). It is a play on Ducatisti a name given to fans of Ducati motorbikes, of which I have one. I hail from Hampshire in the UK and to say I am mildly matured is a little understated (born in the fifties, just! so my age is?.......).

I am married with a 15yr old daughter and have an extremely boring job, so boring I won't say!

I love all things computers and am currently putting myself through as many qualifications as possible at the moment so I can pursue a job of more interest.

I have been into online gaming since '95 (great fun on a 14.4 modem!) and moved over to UT2k4 when it first appeared. I am an admin at Gameservers and have total control over their Invasion servers and hopefully will be able to mirror Dru's work onto one of theirs enabling those in Europe and beyond to be able to sample his superb RPG.

I will though make DC my server of choice as there is not one better at the mo.

See you on the server soon all.

Welcome Duca!

OK...a couple of questions...

1) What model and color do you have? I like motorcycles, but there is no way I would drive one on the roads, so I do not have one. But they were fun and quite necessary when I was helping a friend and his family on their farm, which was several thousand acres in hilly, southeastern Ohio. But you want a real Ducati fan, {BEL}PAINkiller, who has a yellow monster, and who rides every day he can.

2) If you don't mind, where in Hampshire? My family has ties into several areas the UK, including an earldom and a very, very old place in Suffolk near Ipswich (which was recorded in the Domesday Book), and I belong to a medieval living history group, and between that and my interest in astronomy, I am wondering how far you are from Amesbury.

As for having a 15yo daughter...I have two grown step daughters and a 11yo of my own, so I know that the rest of your life outside of work is not likely boring.

Hi Spacey,

1). My current Duke is a limited edition (352 of 500 worldwide) 900SS FE(Final Edition) in silver. This is her in all her glory.

2). I live in Basingstoke in North Hampshire which is not all that far from Amesbury/Stonehenge. Basingstoke is a very old town with a very long history but probably of more interest to you is the neighbouring village of Basing (where I grew up in) which is steeped in history. It is the location of Basing House which featured prominently in the English Civil War a brief history of it can be found here

Children are wonderful, she is of that age now that my daughter is an inspiration!!

See you around.

Reviving old threads... yep...

I don't think I ever formally introduced myself. My real name is Kyle and I live in southern california (I say southern because I sometimes travel between Pomona and San Marcos). I'm currently majoring in Computer Science at Cal Poly Pomona University in my third year. (one of these days I'm going to actually take the time to read UT code ) Hopefully I'll graduate next year, but whatever happens will happen. Not sure yet what I want to outside of college.

When I first started playing UT2K4 I was 100% onslaught. It wasn't until I started experimenting around that I stumbled upon a little known game type called invasion :ohhh ahhhh::. I liked playing invasion, but every server was... oh how should I say it... schizophrenic in their choice of mods. I'm also not the type to immerse myself in a game that is full of foul-mouthed people who constantly insult each other (I came from another server -that's where the .SPR comes from in my name- where they had similar standards to DC). So when I finally came upon DC and it's balanced game play/enforced decency standards, I knew this would be the place to be. That was in early to mid 2005 I believe when I first started playing at DC (still under the name of ECHO.SPR). Several months after that I took a long hiatus from video games. It wasn't until June or July of 2006 that I came back and saw the changes made to the server (classes?! surprise!). September of 2006 I joined the forums (though I had popped on from time to time to read up). UT is pretty much the only game I play now apart from a little bit of Wii

Other bits of info about myself: I'm an avid Mac user as some already know. Once I started using them in the fourth grade I never had a reason to go back (except maybe for games, but Atari seems to take care of that). I love Volvos. It's probably because I grew up riding in a barf colored volvo wagon that I have an emotional attachment to them. I used to live fairly close to Disneyland and, ironically, I've been to Disneyland more times since I moved to the San Diego area than during my childhood. I have three cats. One is old, senial, twitchy, and runs from his own shadow... another is spoiled, prissy, and affectionate... the last is more like a dog than a cat. Nostalgia is cool (TMNT!). I've been known to randomly quote a movie or burst out into song (I whistle a lot too). I'm into just about any type of food except maybe some really spicy dishes and sometimes chicken. Strangely enough, I've found myself eating a lot of peanut butter toast lately. I like/can live with most music except for whiny country songs and 75% of rap/hip hop. One of my favorite websites at the moment is overheardinnewyork.com (viewer discretion is advised! not kids stuff) some really funny stuff gets posted there. I was taught Spanish in high school (memory is a bit fuzzy though) and dabbled in German while in college. I hope to learn swedish in the near future because I'm 50% swedish (25% german = check, 25% norwegian = close enough to swedish)... which also kinda explains my height. I'm 6'5". Places I'd like to visit: England, Japan, Australia, Germany, Finland, Sweden

yeah I think that pretty much covers it. If for some reason I don't respond to text/chat in game, please don't take it personally. My connection tends to make things difficult for me and plus... I'm kinda hard of hearing sometimes
