What Other Abilities Should Engineers Have?  XML

So, we have given Engineers a number of new skills. Which of the other skills should they have?

I would say they should have the standard ones, available to all classes:
  • Airmaster
  • Awareness
  • Cautiousness
  • CounterShove
  • Ghost
  • Iron Legs
  • Power Jump
  • Quickfoot
  • Retaliation
  • Shields Up!
  • Smart Healing
  • Speed Switcher
  • Ultima

    The other class specials should NOT be available:
  • Adrenal surge
  • Energy leech
  • Experienced healing
  • Loaded Artifacts
  • Loaded Medic
  • Loaded Monsters
  • Loaded Weapons
  • Monster points
  • Monster skill health
  • Monster skill intelligence
  • Vampirism

    Of the rest, I would suggest the only following be available to Engineers:
  • Advanced damage reduction

    and NOT
  • Adrenal drip
  • Advanced damage bonus
  • Denial
  • Regeneration
  • Resupply

    What does everyone else think? We can't really let the Engineer Class loose until this is resolved.

    Denial 2 may not be a problem to give them ... I dunno; it's a toss up. Can engineers get ammo some way other than resupply? If they can spawn weapons lockers, then it shouldn't be a problem to not give it to them.

    I'd go with Adv. DR as long as they don't get something like "Shield Regen".

    They can spawn turrets and vehicles, which have infinite ammo, and they have an infinite link.

    Engineers already have Shield Regen. However, it doesn't help much when you are a stationary target.

    Nay on the advanced DR. They already have shields, and beyond that I sorta want them to be weaker than the other classes when isolated.

    Hey Szlat, as long as it builds, you're welcome to continue putting the engineer classes in the core branch. Even if they're not ready for primetime, if I run a build, I just wont include the Engineer things in the properties file

    do enigineers have a option/abilitie .to have whatever vehicle theyre in take the chararistics of the weapon he/she has in hand when jumping in a vehicle? if not is that possible ? vehicles take the players weapon effects? i couldnt find info on the current select attributes .wheres it hideing?
