Ok I looked at teh FAQ about the skills and I have to say I"m still confused about monsters points. I am a healer and I just got the first level of monster points and loaded monsters. I'm not sure how these monster points are supposed to work but right now I can't get any monster to show up not even a cow...

If someone could edumecate me I would be grateful, I know that loaded monsters is not the best thing to have but I thought it would be interesting.

let me help you!

Level 1 is broken, and you cannot summon any monsters until level 2. It will be fixed on the next release.

I'm wondering what it will take for my country to rise,

Cows, bunnies, and certain other monsters were removed from the list of summonable monsters. As such, you won't be able to summon anything until level 2 at this time, or until Shan/Dru work out a new Monster Summoning Level/Monster Point Cost/Monster matrix (which, as Shan has indicated, will be in place in the next release).

Those monsters were removed either because: 1) They lagged the server or 2) there wasn't much point to them. Note that in 200 you can't get XP for healing a pet, and cows and bunnies do no damage to opponents, so there wasn't much point to having them.

I wrote a short summary about how it all works On the Medic Monster/Master thread elsewhere on the forums.

Very glad to hear that's getting fixed. It was rather random and very annoying back when my previous medic was buying them.

So next question do I need as many monster points levels as I do summon Monster? Not really sure how the points work.

That's not a bad guideline.

As the configuration stands now, I would suggest bumping your MP before your MS. Looking at that configuration I can see where Dru/Shan might tweak the levels. The big one is at MS 6, where if you have MP 8, you can summon a Metal Skaarj. But mostly, after that, monsters usually cost less, or equal, in MPs to the MS level you get them at.
