We are currently thinking of changing the amount of exp you gain for winning the game in Invasion. What do you think?

I vote to increase the experience because we went to the experienced level of play, which makes it harder to win.

I think the addition of medics made the game significantly easier. So at that point, the bonus ought to have been reduced.

I think adjusting the difficulty has brought it back more in line with what it used to be. Unless we get actually figures saying how frequently we complete wave 16 now as opposed to before medics were introduced, which we are unlikely to get, then we will never know for certain.

But if it is about as difficult now as before medics, then the bonus ought to be the same - so leave at 80.

I personally wouldn't even mind if it was 0. I get my XP from the killings.

Hence, I chose the last option. Surviving wave 16 is a reward enough.

To be honest, I'm not sure. I'll abstain from this one for now.

I am voting for an increase. Not for myself, as the difference between winning one map or losing it will not be that significant to my level of characters. I vote for an increse for the people with lower level characters where the going has gotten very tough.

In truth. if it were possible I would vote for a sliding scale based upon level and how many times you died. This seems like a coding thing and I know your policy, believe me when I say that looking at the forums or playing on the server is the closest you want me to the code

I agree with what Szlat said. Medics made it much easier to stay alive before. Now with the increased difficulty level it's a little more even between us and the monsters because they can actually hit us now..

I voted for 100, I think up till lvl 20 you can pretty much level at least once a map, after that it gets harder... at about lvl 30 - 50 you I can lvl about once a week... after you get to the 10k I really dont level hardly at all (actually stopped playing that character for the most part)

Voted for: 120

Why: We win less now. Less probably than where the points would average out to be the same, but we don't need the "same" amount over time as we used to get, but I think we should get more per win. Picking the "exact" amount though isn't really all that easy to put a finger on.

So I figure that 120 is sufficiently more to seem significant.

Also voted for 120.

I've only played a couple matches since the change, though. I will reserve final judgement until I see how everyone's revised tacticts affect the average number of times a match is completed as compared to before the change.

Voted for 120 as well, for my LW character the XP doesn't make a difference, but I think the lower level players need to be rewarded for their efforts.

I personally think the XP given for VINV needs to be adjusted though, it is on masterful and is quite challenging. For the amount of time we have to play them and the difficulty of beating them, I don't think even 120 is enough even if you are a level 5 character. I spent literally 25 minutes fighting off titans with Mystic and I got maybe 200XP, on a tight regular invasion map I could do that on a non-titan wave.

I should have voted for an increase - mostly for the lower level players ops:

The little XP awarded for winning does not matter to me. A boost would be good for the lower levels, but for the upper level players, it equils about 1 or 2 waves of play worth of XP...I think anyway. I seem to only get to play in the wee hours of the morning these days, for now, with 3 bots most of the time.
