It came to my attention that some players have been upset that I was not responding to their messages while playing. I apologize for not letting players know why.

I'm rated as a profoundly deaf person, thus verbal messages cannot be easily heard or understood. I try to make a habit of reviewing text messages whenever there's a lull in the play action so that I can answer a query from another player, but as we all know, some maps do not lend themselves to very much downtime.

Please be patient with me and if you do not hear from me, please repeat your question/comment. If necessary, do something to attract my attention.

Thanks for all the great players and fun.

Im pretty sure i havent responded to some people who have treid communicating with me over the mic (i might hear somebody call my name). For some reason, i can barely hear people when they speak over the mic even though i have the volume for voice communication turned up to max.

Yeah I'd say at least half the people (including me) cant here hardly whats said over the mic. IMO I think having a couple seconds to read the chat message & being able to hit f2 is the best way to chat ingame untill they make the voice chat work better.

I have often played with the sound off or a mic de-activated lately due to the time that I play and equipment failure.

I work very late and would not want to wake my wife to be, the kids or the neighbors.

Demonslayer: Don't worry about it! I used to play quake on a server with this guy that never communicated with anyone by any means. Weeks went by and people started to get upset, then one day we got a typed messege from him that said: Zapotec is my son, he is 4 years old and autistic. Do not expect him to read your typing or reply. I never had a way to authinticate if it was true, but it put some extra bite into it when he was beating me
