Hello, everyone. We have FAQs here for getting started and things like that, but I didn't see any comprehensive monster lists. I decided to go ahead and put one together for us.

XP: Monsters are worth a set amount of XP which is usually equal or close to their points value. XP is distributed by damage. If you damage a monster for 50% of its HP, you get 50% of its XP.

Points and adrenaline are always equal (unless you have the ability that gives you extra adrenaline for kills). Points are awarded to whomever damages the monster for its last hitpoint. The killer's adrenaline also increases by the points value.

Also, note that the green halos are there because I got the screenshots by using the monster summon ability.

1 point monsters
Manta

Mantas are almost harmless, but amazingly annoying. They will rush straight at you and then fly in tight circles around you, making them difficult to hit.

Nali Warbunny

Warbunnies are harmless. One thing to note, though: there is a bug where they will die, but their death animation does not play. If their dot disappears off your radar, you can assume that they are dead, even if they're still hopping around.

Nali War Cow

War Cows are harmless, though cute.

Pupae

Pupae are the second strongest one point mosnters. Though they are exceptionally weak, they can do damage to a player in groups, and have been known to eat people who are AFK and/or loading into the game.

Razorfly

Razorflies are the strongest one point monsters. They will fly right at you and, if they run into you, will do a few points of damage.

2 point monsters
Krall

Kralls are a slave race to the Skaarj. They have a little zapper stick that doesn't do too much damage - the Skaarj have put limiters on them to ensure the Kralls cannot revolt.

3 point monsters
Elite Krall

Elite Kralls hit slightly harder than Kralls. They can also go down, but not out: depending on how much damage they take, they can fall and keep firing at you from the ground, requiring a second hit to finish them off.

Nali

They may be worth three points, but Nali are the bane of many a player. A peaceful race, they were forced into war when the Skaarj attacked. These guys use the same weapons players do, and a Nali with a shield gun is very dangerous. Also note that Nalis are immune to magical attacks. It's a racial trait. For example, they cannot be nullified, poisoned, frozen, or knocked back, and they are immune to vampirism and rage. Nalis are the only enemy susceptible to headshots.

4 point monsters
Gasbag

Gasbags are giant floating...er...gas bags with arms and fists. They spit fire, and when they group up, it can be hard to dodge the fiery rain.

6 point monsters
Brute

Brutes have a rocket launcher in each fist. The rockets do not seek, but brutes can do significant damage if they catch a player off guard. However, they are slow to move and not very smart.

Ice Skaarj

The elemental Skaarj all fire energy bursts that do heavy knockback and good damage. They are slightly stronger than the 'normal' Skaarj.

Sniper Skaarj

Sniper Skaarj are Skaarj Troopers armed with a lightning gun type weapon. (See Skaarj Trooper below.)

Skaarj

Skaarj are fairly straightforward. They have Wolverine style claws and can fire energy bursts. They move fairly quick and can dodge.

Skaarj Trooper

Skaarj Troopers are Skaarj armed with a small blue energy buckler (a shield worn on the forearm). While they have the shield out, damage they take from the front is reduced by a huge amount.

Slith

Sliths are somewhat fast. They fire a Bio Rifle type projectile, which means that when they group up, you need to watch your step.

7 point monsters
Fire Skaarj

The elemental Skaarj all fire energy bursts that do heavy knockback and good damage. They are slightly stronger than the 'normal' Skaarj.

Metal Skaarj

Metal Skaarj are Skaarj with a permanent reflective ability. They have a high change to reflect an energy attack and be unfazed by it. This includes Link Gun primary fire and Shock Rifle primary and secondary (but not combo).

Mercenary

Mercenaries are another slave race to the Skaarj. They are armed with a machine gun and a rocket launcher, though they rely on the gun more often than not.

8 point monsters
Elite Mercenary

Elite Mercenaries have seeking rockets and fire their rockets much more often than their non elite bretheren.

Giant Gasbag

Giant Gasbags are much the same as regular ones, except, well, bigger and stronger. They also spawn a small army of regular Gasbags around them. One thing of note: if you have "Full Gore" turned on, when these guys gib, the meat chunks can fill hallways and rooms, often obscuring entire portions of a close quarters map.

10 point monsters
Warlord

Warlords are the first of the three highly dangerous monsters. They can fly, they have a good chunk of health, they have two rocket launchers that fire seeking rockets, and they are fairly smart.

12 point monsters
Queen

Queens spawn a small army of Pupaes around them. Close in, they use their pincers to eviscerate their enemies; at range, they can fire huge blasts of energy that hurt badly.

16 point monsters
Titan

Stone Titan

Titans and Stone Titans are identical except for looks. They have by far the most HP of any monster - 900. When they get angry, they can pound the ground and send everything near them a short distance into the air. Close in, they'll take a swipe at anything they can reach, easily hurting or killing their target. At range, they throw rocks that will instantly kill all but the hardiest of players. In addition, if you are in the unfortunate position to be under a Titan's feet whether the Titan is falling, on a ramp, or otherwise, you will be killed instantly.

very good info and screenshots.......u pretty much have all the enemies there......this is a really good monster FAQ and is very useful to beginners and veterans alike. For the points monster classification, did u classify them by the point that they give u when u kill one or did u classify them by the amount of monster points needed to summon the monster? It would also be nice to know a monster's damage, damage reduction and health.

Btw, the manta, razorfly, gasbag, giant gasbag, brute, sniper skaarj, skaarj trooper, slith, elite mercenary, warlord, queen, titan and stone titan are all susceptible to missile locks from avrils and raptors. That's another info dat might be useful to beginners.

If I may add something about the Giant Gasbag? If you are on one of the waves that has them and you see the giant gasbags spawning plenty of smaller gasbags, focus on the larger ones. When a Giant Gasbag is killed, all of the smaller gasbags it spawned during it's life are destroyed instantly. I don't think you get the points, exp, or adrenaline for any of the small ones that are killed upon a giant's death, but maybe you do.

And for Warlords, I offer one piece of advice that has saved my life countless times. If you are in an opening, or at least far enough away from a wall that you won't take damage from the warlord rockets splash damage, don't move while fighting them. Their rockets only seek moving targets, so if you don't move, they'll zoom all around you.

I have actually taken on half a dozen warlords before by simply standing there and firing my weapons at them, until a brute showed up and shot me back of course.

If Tom has 5 Apples and Suzie has 7 apples, how tall is Matt? (There is a real answer to this question)

Nice Faq. You got fire and ice skaarj reversed though. (Eh it doesnt really matter.) Although the energy blasts of fire skaarj (blue skaarj) and ice skaarj (yellow skaarj) travel faster than ordinary skaarj which makes em a lot more deadly. It also seems like the stone titans throw 1-hit-kill rocks more often than regular ones

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

Timmy: they're classified by the points you get when you kill them on this server. I'll add in the monster summoning later.

I looked at the code and some object properties, and I see damage numbers on some of the Satore monsters, but I don't see anything like monster HP/DR/DB. I know those numbers have to be SOMEWHERE...I just donno where. Yet.

Can anyone point me to either the data or where the data is in the code and I'll add it in?

Also: I corrected the Ice/Fire Skaarj mixup. I'll add in everyone's additional notes as well once I get enough information for another big update.

Queens are worth 14 points, not 12. And you forgot to mention that they have a shield.

Other than that though, nice FAQ.

Very nice job....... I believe the queens are like the gasbags too. If you kill the queen most of the Pupae that have spawn with her will also die.

DR and DB largely depend upon the level of the players alive and what wave it is, so there shouldn't be much of that in there.

HP should be there somewhere... but I have no clue where.

Saving for: Ghost 1, 2, 3, then adren skills -- Ghost 3 -- max DB, then some HB

does it make sense to kill the giant first? or to kill the spawn and get the exp for them as well?

This is great. When they fly they will hit you. when some one jumps around in front of or behind you, they will hit you. another tactic that you can use for warlords: charge them with the shield gun! this may sound bad, but if they are within reach, they wont hit you. and it only takes 2 hits with a shield gun to kill a warlord on the later stages (for me). note: you have to be charging directly at the ones that are firing at you. It does not work if there are warlords not in front of you that are firing at you.

I've also been told that with warlords, stand still if they are on the same as you. If they are on a different level as you they will hit you if standing still.

Yeah, the splash damage from the rockets hitting the ground near you will hit you. Not as big of an ouch, but still an ouch.

cheers.

Oh yeah, definitely never stand still if they're above you, since whenever I take splash damage from their rockets, I get pushed to the side just a little bit, which is just enough for the rest of their shots to realize 'Hey. movement!' and seek in to kill me. I'm not sure if having Airmaster or any similiar skills would help with that, maybe a sturdy weapon?

Moof - for hit points, check this thread out:

For DR/DB, check this thread out:

and this:

As for how much damage the bad guys do, I don't know that info. It would be nice to know for people with pets, so they can pick the right pet in the right scenario.
