Whats happing dru did you speed up the server or make the monsters meaner i mean there being brutal now.. Titans use to take time throwing rocks now they throw non stop

Hmm... if the difficulty has been increased, I unfortunately have not seen it yet. I played a few hours tonight. They still kneel before Zod!

Yes 320, to us mere mortals, the monsters are smarter. Im sure its nothing to the zodlike.

I've noticed that monsters are dodging more on the earlier waves, like warlords dodging a string of link shots from across the room on wave 11 when they wouldn't do that until wave 16. Thats the type of things I've noticed the monsters doing. Things they should be doing anyway.

I've also noticed more people dying, so something's definitely up.

I did notice a difference only on wave 15. Skaarjs dodge a little better.

But indeed this is good news!

After a full session of play, I have found that this is more than a minor challenge. To survive waves with titans, I find that I must switch to a sniper weapon and keep the number throwing at me to less than 3.....where I was able to survive before with vamp 3, that and booster does not seem to be enough anymore. time to revise my tactics!

I still think the big monsters (titans, warlords, queens) need to be faster, stronger, and smarter. In particular, make the warlords and queens better at hunting down players who are sniping from afar. Today we were playing a rather small and open map (an egyptian-themed ctf map with a pond in center), and wave 12 was the funnest I've played in a while. Projectiles everywhere, no where to hide: just you, your gun, and lots and lots of targets, the way Unreal should be.

And making the monsters stronger will even out the playing field among lower and higher level players. Loaded weapons 5 or a vorpal shock won't help if you don't have basic skills like dodging, weaving, and aiming.

Stronger is pretty useless imo.

People above level 150 already makes Piercing the only weapon viable.

True, Kitfox, but only on wave 16 when most lower level players have died.

I think the higher level monsters could use a 100 hitpoint bump, but I will say that I have noticed the increased difficulty lately. It is often only noticeable when there are fewer medics, the map is larger or there are fewer players, but the change is definately there. And, IMO, a welcome change it is!
