Ingame shots are the best, I usaully do an instant action with the bot roster full of whatever skin(s) I going to take shots of set the display settings to max and launch a level (spectate also works well if the bot roster is set up for the skin)

A few usefull console commands for taking screenshots

Togglescreenshotmode This will remove all HUD including the crosshair from the screen. (if you open a menu the crosshair will turn itself back on for some reason though)

FreeCamera 1 This commands allows you to rotate your camera around your player at any angle. You will no longer be able to turn your character around (you will move your character with straf and forward backward)

LockCamera This command locks the camera's position in the level. If you continue to move your character around it will have full range of movement.

FOV 33 This is the command you can use to zoom the camera in or out. The 33 portion can be replaced with any number. (default FOV is 90 anything over 100 will begin to distort things)

Slomo .5 Using slow motion helps control the camera to get it positioned where you want it. (the .5 portion can be replaced with any number, 1 is default speed, .5 is 1/2 speed.)

Playersonly This will freeze all bots in the level (usefull for spectating a botmatch ect.) You will not be able to switch weapons ect.

Killbots If you don't want any bots this will get rid of all of them.

God God mode
