I was playing round 1 of Aithanarid tonight (the server had just reset) and it was just me, I believe, and 3 bots. Well, two of them had died and then the Riker bot bought it next to me. Instead of just dying and I finishing the wave alone, a little green light appeared. Then a big green explosion and and then I died. Glitch?

I think bots will be assigned random skills. I would think it would be to some extent a percentage of your xp. Then again I don't really know.

it depends how the bot has been made.
if it is a bot wich is meant to play offencive a lot, then it wil buy abilitys that are offencive aswel.
same with defencive bots.
this is more or less from the readme from ut2004rpg, were it says the bots wil take abilities based on the way they play.
though i got my doubts, as in the code it also has a priority line with how much chance for the AI to buy it.
(incase it has a lot already, it wil buy these anyway.)
but i do think this is quite correctly, as i have seen bots have a lot of DB or DR but often they dont have both to a high point.
like they have 3 times as much of 1, as the other.
this helps ?
i know, it is a little much, but it does answer the question.

Rikker has ultima. I got so curious I checked the ini. There's no doubt about it. He's purchased it.

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

How did the bot kill ya if he was on your team? That's strange. I wonder if it's ultima does the same as the redeemer when you die in forgeting that it was triggered by 'same team' players.

He probably left the game because someone joined right after the bot died.
If the controller goes away, ultima acts like a redeemer and kills all in it's wake. I've seen this happen to DD once when he got disconnected after his ultima started going off.
