Ive got this error that crashes UT everytime I start, it happens during the initial splash screen (never gets past it) Ive already tried a fresh install of UT and it didnt do anything also my system is up to date and I never had any problems untill this morning (and nothing new installed within the last couple of days)

Here is a screenshot, although it really doesnt give any useful info.



Anyone wanna take a crack at this?

Yes
(makes it the very last hard drive so I can find it easy. )



Figured out the problem though... CPU overheated, time to upgrade

Did you try running UT in Safe Mode

Try re-installing the latest patch again.

What did the UT2004.log record? particularly where it failed.

Thanks man!!
Turns out even though I overheated, nothing got damadged. Had a bunch of errors from some maps not being able to find there packages correctly.

Still full of errors in the log but it works.
