Check out the post with the list of awards here: http://www.disastrousconsequences.com/dcforum/posts/list/0/1373.page#10373

Essentially what I'm trying to do is give players incentives to play smarter rather than harder.

I'd like to know what you all think of the awards, as well as where any of them may be unbalanced.

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

After seeing the nice reward for head hunter, I'd wish the nalis had bigger heads. It's a good sized bonus, and it makes the early waves much more interesting. The awards seem really nice, especially if you're a newbie. Get a head hunter award as a level 5 and you've gone up two levels and then some.

There is a personal option in game to turn off mature taunts, this also chainges the highest level kill to holy crap

Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster...
and if you gaze into the Abyss, the Abyss gazes also into you.

When you use the option to disable mature taunts you no longer see the offensive material but instead it is replaced with Holy Crap, the game cleans itself up for you if you chose to let it.

The award is part of the origional game right? If I understand right the mod creates a way to give you points/exp in invasion/rpg and plays whatever anoucement the user has it set for? So basicially if you hear holy cr_p then its because you have the mature taunts (under game settings) turned to on.

I was really wondering what was going on with announcments in the game for a while

Crap is a safe word here

If you hear the mature version, it's because you have mature taunts on. If you see holy crap kill, it's because you don't have mature taunts on.

Comprendo?
