Last night a couple of ppl on the server were talking about what pets we had and Miss_Kitty made the notion of making a pet thread to discuss them. So here it is, Discuss away
I have 2 cats:
1 is black, name is Pester (me and my sis used to pester my dad into getting pet i.e. the name)
The other is a silver color tabby cat, name is Silver
Both cats are roughly 1 1/2 years old, ferile, got them off the street when they were a month old. Been my babys ever since.
My Dads Fiance also has 3 cats and 3 dogs (i dont know breed or age)
Dogs:
Her oldest dog Stevie (named after Stevie Nixx) Has a problem with her legs and cannot move. Roughly 15 years old
Then comes Pheobe, My favorite of the 3. Roughly 13 years old
And last but not least, Misty, the child of the bunch, at only 6 years old.
Cats:
(I dont know breed or age so just naming names/color)
Bandit: Brown/Black/White, looks a lot like Sly cooper from those Video games.
Little Guy: Blind, Orange Tabby cat
Princess: Pure white, Loves to shed all over the place

I have 5 cats, 3 female and 2 males. (all spayed or neutered)
There is way too much personality in these critters to explain here, so I will just be brief: (I will list them in order of hierarchy in the "pride" )
Kitty: Queen of them all, but is in troubled waters for the thrown as she is getting older (at 13 the oldest). She's my cat. Lots of coloring with subtle black stripping. Very, umm, confident about her self and extremely assertive.
Dozer: King (albeit he is just a figure head in Kitty's eyes. But he does Lord it over the rest of them that he's the boss when Kitty is unavailable.) White and Gray Himilayian, runs about 18 lbs. His paws put together cover my eyes and nose. Tough as a piece of shoe leather, but pretty laid back unless you rial him up. My wife's cat.
Kimberrincess (so to speak) She will definetly take over the leadership when kitty steps down, but isn't pushing for that roll yet. She is the best one of a great bunch. When she was born she was about the size of my thumb, now she is a bundle of muscle wrapped in fur and weighs in at 15 lbs. She is almost a flop cat. (when you pick her up it's almost like she looses all skeletal structure and muscle function.) But trust me, don't make her angry, you wouldn't like her if she was angry. She is also the most eccentric of the bunch, I would almost say she is weird, but there is so much personality there that she's almost like another human in the house. My son, Nic's, cat and she is 7.
Cocoa: Spare heir to the throne, and pushing for it. She is very anti social (Shan, can you work a little of your magic on her? I can just see her like eating out my eye balls if I ever passed out for some reason for too long. She gives me the shivers.) Quite aggressive and possesive. She hunts Kitty down sometimes and gets into scraps with her, almost like one of a pack going after the leader when they know their time is comming. She's my wife's cat, and very possesive. If she is sitting with Venus and the phone rings, she will actually growl at it like it was threating or something. Not to say she is evil, she can actually be quite affectionate at times. Also, she dwells in our bed room and only comes out to eat and use the box. This is her stomping ground and thats that. She is Merlin's sister, is 5 yrs old and only weighs about 5 lbs, the smallest cat we have.
Merlin: Basically the court jester. Most lovable cat ever concived by mother nature. He loves anything and anyone that comes in the door. Pure black (unlike his sister Cocoa who is a coffee with swirls of chocolate) with deep green eye's, he is the most vain cat we own, and he should be as he is quite handsome. He is 5, and weighs in at 6 lbs.

I personally have 2 animals:
Maggi my doggie (shih tzu, pekingese)
Spanky my kitty (Half Persain and dont know the other half.. mother ran away came came back pregaunt)
Spanky isnt really a kitty as much as maggi is a doggie.. Spanky is older than i am, im pretty sure hes 18 years old. He is a very big cat and was bigger but with his age he shrunk like all people do. He is bigger than my doggie (noticeable amount) and my dog is afarid and annoying.. Although she doesnt bark, she screams and will anooy you any way what so ever.. She truely is my daughter
Maggi we got from an old couple when she was 6 months old, no one wanted her and she was going to be put to sleep. The old couple had to move into a retirement home.
Spanky my aunt gave us along with his sister Darla. However Darla passed away years ago leaveing spanky to outlive all my other cats
(We did name them from the Little Rascals.. It was cute)
I also call them by nicknames which they respond to Mags and Spanks i like it better than their orginal names but it doesnt make a difference
My sister lives on her own with her own animals, she has 3 dogs. All chihuahuas A long hair which is extra large, a normal whihc is pretty small. Last but no least the teacup the smallest of the bunch and the only girl.
Cody is the long haired
Will is the regular
And...
Grace is the teacup (Yes she named them after the show will and grace, however she had cody for a yearbefore she the to two little ones)
If anyone wants i could easily get pictures from my sister and post them up here so you can see all of the little ones that i care for on a daily bases

I have two 5-year-old brothers, do they count? Otherwise if they don't, I currently have no pets but I have always wanted a dog.

I have a two and a half year old cat, a black and orange matted calico named Napoleon (even though she's a girl. I got her when she was a kitten and I had no experience with cats so I couldn't figure out her gender until a few days after I named her). We named her that after she systematically conquered every empty box or enclosed space in the entire house, and continues to do so. Done putting away groceries and left the box on the floor? Left the backpack with its zipper open? Desk drawer slightly ajar? Chances are she's lurking inside... and eager to protect her new fortress. She's also notorious for darting across the dark hallways when someone needs to use the washroom at night, and then doing a playful hop at them as they turn on the lights around the corner

Aahah i have a picture of my cat in a space were the draw is supposed to be, we took it out because it wasnt working right and when we turned around he was in it and took up the WHOLE space, my dog does that too she sleeps in little places, like behind the toliet (hoped she learend shes now blue from it (long story)) behind chairs. My favorite of all she likes to sleep on clothes so she jumps onto hampers. Well she misjudges sometimes and jumps into an empty one and cant get out until she starts screaming so us.. Thats always funny

There used to be a pet thread. It's probably buried pretty deep by now though. If you can find it a lot of us posted pictures of our pets in it.

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.
