Salem's Goodbye

Hello all, it's Beowulf. A tradegy has happened to today.My 8 year old cat was hit today and passed away. I loved Salem greatly and the person who hit him was my mother. It was a total accident but i'm still heartbroken. I know you guys don't know him but could you pray for him tonight.Thank you everyone.

My sincerest sympathys my friend. I know what it is like to loose a valuable animal companion, and I feel for you in your time of lose. Though I am not a religious man, be assured that my thoughts are with you, friend.

O man i feel your pain. It will be 3 years ago in December when i had to put my cat to sleep. It was a horrible sight to see such a fighter like her struggle to walk.. It pained me to think about it, my mom sat me down and said their were two things put her to sleep of let her be in pain. I had her for 9 years, and found her as a stray it was to make the decision but it had to be done i loved her with all my might and couldn't stand to see her in that state. After my cat was put sleep i didnt eat for 2 days.The vet told us their was nothing that could of been done, and that she had cancer and it was taking its toll. I haven't forgotten her and how she acted, Born a stray and lived with us.. She Truely was the best cat that i ever had had..

Awwww, I'm really really sorry to hear about that!! I know how you feel. I would be devastated if something happened to my cat. She is my best friend.

I won't ever have a pet again for that reason, after nine dogs and a cat, I can't take the heartache again. I love my animals......probably too much....and all of them had a violent or sad end to their lives.

I feel your pain and am sorry for your loss.

my cat is a male..
but i still love him a lot, and also i woulnt know what to do without him...
take some new cats i think..

CrazyBeowulf, my heart goes out to you and your family I know how you feel. Our pets are members of our family and deeply loved. You and your baby are in my prayers. Sending you and your mom big hugs. Remember all the good times you spent with Salem it really helps with the grieving process.

After one of my cats died 14 years ago I was given Muggy. She was healing therapy and I love her more than life. My boyfriend had dumped me the same weekend, which was Valentines. Muggy made me better, I had not eaten for 17 days only drinking hot milk, I was a mess and she healed my heart. Muggy was a blessing, a gift from God, I was sent an angel.
