Good Gaming Snacks

I am going to go to a LAN in a little while and I was just wondering if anyone had some recommendations for good snacks or drinks to have while gaming. I personally am a big fan of regular Lays potato chips...mmmm. Dr. Pepper is always a good drink but anything with caffeine is also good.

Well, when i go to Dru and Shantys for LAN parties or Magic parties, i always bring apple pie..course i make it and you prob. want store bought stuff..i say normal chips and nacho cheese sauce!!! Or doritos and bean dip! yummo!! make sure you have sweets to even out the salty.

Microwave popcorn and ice tea for me.

. I like getting a big bag of munchies. No, not just getting stuff but the chips titled "Munchies" nice wide assortment of things to eat. And agreeance with the Dr.P but I find a good contrast to mix in is Mountain Dew. Comon, Do the Dew!!!

I'd say Diet Coke, Oreos, Cheetos and cheese.

-Arizone Green Tea is by far the best drink out their, no embarassing burps (for the ladies) and a sweet taste.
And for the food.. anything that doesnt require 2 hands.. kinda hard that way.. i tried chinese food once.. didnt work well..

Nachos, popcorn (lots of butter for everyone else, so their keyboards and mice get slippery

) Definatly squezzy cheezey and doritos. Another cool little ditty is : Take hard seaseme (spelling?) bread sticks, spread some cream cheese on one half then roll a slice of thin hard salami around the cheesed end, arrange in a starburst pattern on a plate with a small bowl of your favorite flavored olive oil in the center. Oh, and lots of chocolate and coke.

PyRo, I agree with you on the donut side of things. Since it is just a small LAN at my friend's house, we usually take a break in the middle and go on a Krispy Kreme run. Cha-Chi has a good point on the Mountain Dew. It is probably the next best soda behind Dr. Pepper. I am currently switching between caffeine drinks. I used to be a loyal Bawls drinker but lately I've gotten into Monster a little bit more. Any help on choosing sides would be great too.

Oh yeah, Doughboy, although I have heard that alcohol goes good with games, I am still underage so that wouldn't be very good. Thanks anyway for the suggestion. About the energy drinks, I drink them becuase I am not a fan of coffee. I need something to keep me going for a long time. I know that you can get really concentrated cappuccino some places but I have never liked the taste of coffee, so energy drinks are all I have left.

im banned from Sobes' Adreniline Rush by wombat... i miss them, but your right, they are trouble. I didnt sleep for like 3 days

PyRo, you probably just need to build up your endurance. I've had like 3 Monsters in one night and they wore off after about 8 hours or so; but I guess I just drink too much caffeine then.
