I dont know if this has been covered before but last night I was playing and a monster dropped a white magic weapon maker. I figured it was a normal MWM but when I started using it I thought different. I made 5 weapons before it broke and I got a vamp +7 shock, freezing flak +6, freezing rocket +6, infinate link +4, and a vorpal avril +8. Is it a better MVM or did I just get lucky?

I have gotten some different colored MWMs too. I've seen blue, white, and black MWMs while I have been playing... is there any difference?

Probably due to the environment you're playing in. It's all the same.

While we have your ear Dru, can the color of the MWM be changed? I, too many times, have a nice weapon, go and use my purple triple damage, only to see I had the purple MWM in the artifact window and my wonderful +4 freezing mini turn into a +1 lucky.

The good news is if you're quick on the trigger finger you can hit the use artifact key again and it'll stop the process. You don't regain any lost adrenaline but at least you keep your weapon. Had a few close calls with +7 vampiric flaks and mistaken identity before as well. A color change for the mwm icon in the artifact window would be nice.

To who started this thread.You are probly picking up the loaded artifacts weapon makers.I have noticed these do not break so easily.An when i drop them i have seen them a grey color a blue and a purple or even a white soo it could be that too...Some even camo into the game hard to see when i drop all my loaded artifacts

If you pick up a loaded artifacts weaponmaker from some one who dies, it acts the same as the regular version. The only time its unbreakable is in the hands of someone with Level 3 Loaded Artifacts.

As for running it more than 2 or 3 times its all luck. Rather than use a 321 countdown to make it break after 3 it uses a rand number generater for 0 to 3 and if 3 it breaks.. hence the 33% chance to break. Not a guarantee mind you, just a roll of the dice.

I've seen the color of the MWM be anything from pure angelic white to null entropy black. Either way it doesnt affect it. Just some weird color texture happenings going on.
