Ok, I've looked all around and I cannot find an in-depth list of console commands. Toying around, I've gotten things to work that I didn't find documentation for, but I'd like to know if anyone has seen a full list? At least one that has the "leave channel" and "join channel password" consonle commands for voice chat.

I'd like to find out how to enable and disable TTS in the console so I can go keybind it. Thanks for any tips.

I noticed "set engine.playercontroller bNoTextToSpeechVoiceMessages true" would do it but it says I can't on network play. Can I only do playercontroller variables if they are type byte? I couldn't seem to do any of the true/false ones in network. Is there a way around that?

'set input <key> set PlayerController bNoTextToSpeechVoiceMessages false'

use that to keybind the TTS on key

and

'set input <key> set PlayerController bNoTextToSpeechVoiceMessages true'

use that to keybind the TTS off key


P.S. This info can be obtained by examining the User.ini for the header information..etc

My guess is that you can only set player controller variables that are client side only, otherwise the server will be out of synch with the client, and/or the settings would have no effect...

So turning TTS on and off on my client here is considered a server change? I thought TTS was only a change for my client, but it doesn't work. If you can get it to work on a net game, please let me know. Thanks.

I think it goes back to cheat protection...

Epic has made it so that some variables can be altered out of game but not in game. I think people used to use live game console commands like set game speed as a way to cheat.

hmm, in that case, is it possible to change the TTS volume while in an online game? Typically it helps to hear TTS cause I'm playing, not here to read. It's when I want to have a chat with a group of admins that I find it a problem. I did a keybind to leave public/private and join all the other admins password protected channels so we're in a "group" channel so to speak. That way I don't hear anything but them......except for that TTS. I'd rather not turn it off, as I'm not going to start reading things in-game, but I sure don't want the TTS while having admin discussion.

Anyone have any kind of way that would help out?

that would make it full volume

'set PlayerController TextToSpeechVoiceVolume 0.5'

that would make it half.. etc
