On the player stats screen where you put your awarded points into skills and all there is the first boxes with the numbers in it of which each one is at. Next to those are smaller boxes with + and - signs, what are these boxes used for? I usually just use the big plu signs to enter in my points but then I considered these. Want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

The box next to those with the + and - are how many points you are adding to those particular attributes. So, if it says 4 next to health, then you will be adding 4 points to your health.
